So much excitement today! Joy had put the basket out on the porch overnight. Ruth was making breakfast and looked out to see baby kittens in the basket! She had jumped in their overnight and had 5 kittens out in the cold. Quickly they were brought in and the kids gathered around!
Joy thought that she would have them for her birthday on March 31st as she did a couple years ago. Sweetie was very large, so it is good that they are here a couple weeks early!
Today I put away the winter pillows on my bed as the snow is almost totally gone. Baby kittens are a sure sign of spring, along with the nice warm weather melting the ice and snow. The baby calves are coming each day, and baby Thomas is now 4 months old today and has yet to meet his first baby calf.
Sounds like a job for grandma tomorrow after mass! Thomas, Jude and Birdie and baby calves! This is how my addiction to photography began and got me obsessed to the point I find myself to this day- baby kids and baby animals and a hunky husband! I was a goner!!!
Today is his first Solemnity of St Joseph! The patron Saint of his grandpa Patrick, who took St Joseph as his patron when he was confirmed! No better for his love of Family and LIFE! Happy Feast Day my Most Cherished Cross!

Dad spoke to me today in this intercessory prayer... as a man dad took very seriously the men in our family and the work that they did for their self-worth and for providing for their families! I know that dad is praying now more perfectly from heaven!
Our "house" has been truly blessed by my dad and hubby - who are wonderful role models of St Joseph in our lives!
From Hebrews today and pointed out by dad today in the Office of Readings. Dad is now in his heavenly home praying more perfectly for his huge family of 140+!
Dad today once again from Hebrews. Dad certainly sought The Lord and was directed by the Holy Spirit to bring all 13 into The Catholic Church 50 years ago! Today would have been our first Solemnity of St Joseph 50 years ago just as it is today Thomas Robert's first Solemnity of St Joseph!

Such blessings and graces abound in our domestic Church/Family as 3 little ones are having their first Solemnity of St Joseph! Magdalene Rose with her many Josephs in her family - dad, Major Joseph, brothers, David Joseph, Patrick Joseph, Romeo Joseph, and Hector Joseph! Lots of celebrating on base in Fort Lewis, WA!!!
Also Regina Maria, who was 3 months old a few days ago and is our youngest granddaughter... and she is having her first St Joseph Feast day of many today!!! Our Church is the best with so many celebrations to give us hope and JOY!
Pope Benedict XVI today which mom left for me after reading it for 10 years... We find deeper Faith through our suffering. Prime example for me is John finding his Faith through his battle for his life against brain cancer 13 years ago! We now have the new John, who loves to share his story!
His Spirit Juice video! His story continues now with wife and children!Much like St Joseph he shared his Faith in our domestic Church/family with strength and joy! Now the quiet and silent part is not the case, but still he is strongly loving! Hard working - yes!!!

Today I drove Pat over to the farm, and had a reason to go in and see the kids with their new kittens. Pat claimed he was going in to talk to Paul, but shortly he had Tom in his arms and was sitting at the table talking to this kid or that about the kittens and farm. He loves his farm family! Bless-bless, Barbara and the 50... 33 here with 17 in heaven including our parents. How they are celebrating with St Joseph today!
