After years away... we are HOME at wonderful HRS!

Our oldest grandson, Simon Lanoue, is now the 3rd generation to go to the Catholic School in Marshall - Holy Redeemer!  He is a kindergartener, and we find ourselves once again excitedly and proudly at his wonderful Christmas program after being away from there for 8 years... John walked out of there in 2003, and then we had no person to watch anymore..
The little ones always steal the show, and this year was no exception!  Simon is in the front row with the vest and the light blue shirt - right next to one of the sheep.. he was a little shepherd with the string tied around his head.
The live Nativity scene filled out by the 8th graders was pretty amazing as usual too!  It was wonderful to be back and we look forward to many years ahead and many wonderful occassions... before we know it.... Simon will be one of the shepherds or maybe even Joseph or one of the kings!  But then I want him to stay small and sweet and charming for a few more years yet!  Bless-bless, Barb
"Suffering will never be completely absent from our lives.  If we accept it with faith, we are given the opportunity to share the passion of Jesus and show him our love.
One day I was to visit a lady who had terminal cancer.  Her pain was tremendous.
I told her,'This is nothing but Jesus' kiss, a sign that you are so close to him on the cross that he can kiss you.'
She joined her hands and said, 'Mother, ask Jesus not to stop kissing me.'"  Blessed Teresa of Calcutta
