He lives within our hearts and our homes!

A ebb and flow of family and sharing and awaiting the coming of the Light of the World!  Over to pick up little 4 year old Mary and Nancy and Bill to go to visit residents of the nursing home with Holy cards blessed by Pope Benedict and some candy... Ruth and Paul's little red barn greeted us with a sign of the coming joy - O Come, O Come Emmanuel!
How the elderly and the infirmed voiced or showed their gratitude for the small hands that handed them candy and the sweet voices that intoduced themselves and wished them a "Merry Christmas."  There was a definite light in their eyes, and we were touched deeply by them in return, and left there counting our blessings... realizing that there are definitely the poor in our midst!
Another large family meal shared and the shared work of cleaning the dishes... as Nancy with her sweet neice, Therese.  They had grown so close living together over the last year... they Love to share time together and even work becomes a joy!
Wishing you and yours a wonderful time of joy as the Christ Child comes to dwell in our hearts and our homes!  Jesus, we trust in you!  Amen and Halleluia!
"Lord, make me an instrument of your peace:
where there is hatred let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt,  faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
where there is sadness, joy.
Lord, may I not so much seek
to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love.
Because it is in giving that we receive,
in pardoning that we are pardoned." St Francis of Assisi
