Therese warmed my heart and I laughed in delight as she sang this simple profound song at breakfast. Maria has shared the faith so beautifully with her children in every part of their lives. She was sharing that without TV in their home and only a movie on Sundays... that when they are in a hotel room on the way here and a commercial came on during a show... they thought that the TV was broken... "Mom, what happened to the show?" So crazy amazing that they are that naive about the workings of shows on TV with the constant bombardment of commercials... Maria should be pleased that they are that way. Last night she had a chance to tell Therese that the baby they had been expecting was sick and was going to be with Jesus. "But, mom, what about the baby getting milk?" "I don't think that they need milk in heaven." "Mom, I think that Jesus will give our baby milk." We are blessed by the wisdom and beautiful insight of little children. I think that it gave Maria some healing to have this conversation with her precious daughter.
Jesus along with your Mother... we thank you for the love and care and comfort we gain from each other and your wonderful Church! We are reminded that you are in control. Jesus, we trust in you! Amen and Halleluia!
