In early April last year...we found ourselves in the Cities on Nancy's birthday - April 2 - and we were outside an abortion clinic praying for the lives of the unborn innocent life that could be ended that morning. Before we headed out I had a chance to sit down with Simon,6, and Mary,almost 5. I explained to them the horrible shocking truth that some mom's cannot love their babies or do not understand that it is a precious life, so they go and have them killed - taken out of their wombs by abortion. Their eyes were huge in disbelief and so sad!
We were led by a priest from Nancy and Bill's church in all 15 decades of the rosary, and at times he would tie them into the death going on in the abortion clinic... At the atrocities and death placed upon God/Jesus, and that of innocent life. Mary holds her lamb... very symbolic of the slaughter of the innocents!
Another 40 days for life just came to an end... this was the powerful sharing in a daily email mailing that I receive...
"40 days ago ... ... there were children scheduled to be aborted who are alive today -- 465 that we know of!
40 days ago ...... women were making abortion appointments -- but now,they're preparing their lives to welcome a new baby boy or baby girl.
40 days ago ...... cold hearts that were annoyed at your peaceful presence at the abortion facility are now open to joining you in prayer.
40 days ago ...... you may have doubted what God could accomplish; and yet through your prayer, fasting and vigil ... YOU have been spiritually blessed.
Babies ... women ... workers ... hearts ... minds --these are all impacted when we pray and bring light into the darkness!"
Mary with her namesake... How I go to Our Lady daily and often! She brings me and all of those that turn to me for prayers to her Son! Prayer is as every beat of my heart and every breath that I take. To "see" those who are loving and are praying for those hurting has to make a difference, and make them want to find that peace, love and hope themselves! 
Nancy was just 2 months away from having Gus... praying for the mothers, who were too confused, hurting or ignorant to realize that there is a life - future light to the world- that needs to be cherished and nourished and maybe given away to those that are so wanting to love and raise a child... Change their hearts, dear Lord and Our Lady, so that they can see the TRUTH!
Jesus with your Queen Mother...we turn to you in prayer that will never cease for the lives of the innocent. Thank you for all the power that we see coming from these 40 days spent praying - the tiny mustardseed that starts a huge tree with birds landing in its branches. :"Another 40 Days for Life campaign has come to an end -- and we can look back now at lives FOREVER CHANGED.
