Pat just reviewed the firing of a famous football coach due to the cover up of a sexual predator on his staff. He repeated what we both heard last night... "This is way beyond football. This is about protecting families, and the far reaching damage that something like this does to families and people." I do admit that I struggle with the games of sports that become so huge for people... I do see the way that John and Pat have always enjoyed sharing their love of the Minnesota Twins, but have gone a bit batty with the fact that they play practically every day!
It was just good to finally hear many saying that this is really just a game, and real life suffering and wrongs to human beings is much more important! It is just a game! People are what matter! How can they even be in the same equation? When Pat repeated this morning over and over what we both had heard last night... It was like this was something monumental that all these football fans had come to realize. No! Many of us, who care nothing for sports could see the glaring TRUTH always... it is just a game. It is not real life and when it crosses over to harm innocent people that is WRONG!

For she is fairer than the sun and surpasses every constellation of the stars. Compared to light, she takes precedence; for that, indeed, might supplants, and wickedness prevails not over Wisdom.... Lord, it is so good when your Truth is revealed... that people matter more and their welfare is what matters in this crazy mixed up world! May this small step in the right direction lead many to really examine those things in their lives that they have put before those around them, and most of all those things that we tend to put before you, Our loving and forgiving Savior! How you long for us to turn to you! Your arms are open wide to us, if only we would turn away from sin and our self importance. Thank you for this big step in the direction of Wisdom, and the way that it has touched the hearts of many. To see clearly in the fog and gray of this world is such a breath of fresh air! To stand Firm on what it the best for others, rather than what we want! To fight for purity and portecting those that are needing for security. People/families are more important than anything... "Wisdom is mobile beyond all motion, she penetrates and pervades all things by reason of her purity." It is a vision of a football patern with Wisdom as the Truth that will score! Jesus, we trust in you! Amen and Hallaleuia!
