A peaceful day with one baby and staining the deck

Rose looked so peaceful as she slept in the big bed that used to be my parents in the downstairs apartment.  I have not been down there in the last 2 weeks as Ruth and Paul and Rose were down there.  It hit me hard with nostalgia that my parents aren't there to share time with in our beloved Michigan.  It was very special to read my mom's story which came from her time in Michigan as a kid growing up, time with our family up to 11 kids, and now this place for their kids and their kids.  Michigan has been huge for us for generations, and now it is spreading into the next generation.  The waves of beauty are filling us with many wonderful memories of our big Lake.  Ruth's kids talk about Michigan almost daily from when they come to when they come back the following year.  It is very much of a powerful family blessing as we bond in paradise.
How I loved to sit and visit with my folks in this beautiful peaceful place.  The waves of change have come and now we are here with our grandkids and are counting our blessings.  Jesus, we trust in You.  Bless-bless, Barb
