From spectacular aqua marine to Flouresent Green - oceans of them!

On the last night we spent in Michigan we walked out to the lighthouse with Pat.  The water was spectacularly aqua marine blue and the boys climbed on the huge pieces of rock that line the walkway.  The wind was so cool and as the waves splashed we were filled with the refreshment that we are all craving now in the heat of midsummer in the prairie!  I just loved our hour out there and knew that I would wish that I could put it in a bottle and bring it home with me.  Looking at this picture reminds me of how wonderful it was a week ago.

Helping pick up bales today and driving down the gravel road with corn about ready to tassle on both sides... It was a sea of vibrant and glorious green!!!  Flouresent green has now replaced the blue of the Big Lake Michigan, but it still is a wide open expanse of visibility - it is like I live on a big lake here on the prairie.  I can see in all directions and the wind even makes it move like waves!  Not as cool, but still a beautiful sight!  Jesus, we trust in YOU.  Bless-bless, Barb
Keep the farmers safe and cool in the heat... may the memory of that coolness flow over and around them.. .
A cool and special grandpa!
