Such a wonderful family evening - so reminicient of the days with our kids. We would load them up in the pickup and go out to look at the cows and calves at the end of the day. This would be our primo family time/vacation on the farm. Time spent not working but enjoying the fruits of your labors can be called vacation time on the farm - most especially when it is spent with the entire family away from the house.
While I was making us a big family supper there were some wild games going on in the front room!
Then out to the pasture on a glorious night - we had no bugs and the weather was so perfect! We do need rain so badly though. Hear our prayers, O Lord.
Grandpa and Rose out checking the cows. "They are really close grandpa, but with you I feel safe!"
Silouette pictures..
Walking with kids amongst the cows and calves...
Some attempts at kid pictures...
Should have left the big kids out so I just cut them out...
kind of close to the cows....
Beautiful Beautiful evening
Pat and his cows and calves - a lot of work but he loves doing it! Jesus, we trust in YOU. Bless-bless, Barb
And he loves to share time with the cows and calves with the kids and the grandkids. Life is good on the farm!
