Talk about fellow travelers... Mary and Jesus always make a new base a home for our family!
All seven with the sun in their eyes and Mary and Jesus say "Cheese" for grandma and mommy.
I was driven to make a point of getting all the grandkids together on our first beautiful day in the week we have been here. We are heading back to temporary housing in Kansas City today.
Berna and Patrick have been wonderful playmates and friends for the week... as have David and Gus. The two toddlers have pushed strollers the length of the house together, too. Therese is wonderful to all and a model of grace!
The 3 year olds building life-long memories and friendships.
heading out to mass on base...
Waiting for a diaper change on Rome... Bless-bless, Barb Jesus we come to you and love you.
coming back to it and repeating some...
Hanging out with Mary and Jesus is always great!
Ice cream all around.
Romeo ate 1 1/2 cups of ice cream.... more than any other.
Dominic on my bed in the sun... he gives me lots of love in my time away from home.
the 2 three year olds have a fort in the play pen...
The girls brushing their hair and teeth together for church.
Learning from her big cousin,Therese.
"David, the girls are primping... the next time you hear that word you will know that it means they are getting pretty for mass."
The next service was to be Protestant, so the crucifix came down and the plain cross goes up.
Father was so wonderful to the children and sang us a wonderful song that lifts him up when he is down - The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to bring glad tidings to the poor... From the Gospel today Luke 4:14-21
The best I could do of the kids dressed up just back from mass... they were all very good in church! Romeo took an adorable nap on his dad's shoulder. Jesus, we thank you for this time together as family. We are marveling at how well they have all played together. The two toddlers have been playing together so sweetly while I am writing this. We thank you for the small blessings we have had this week. Jesus, we trust in you. Amen and Hallelujah
