Sweeping up after the construction last evening - I was thrilled to be able to enjoy the sunset from inside the house. The sunrise is out our huge picture window to the East each morning, and I love that. For the sunset I would have to make a point to look out there and go outside the house to enjoy it... now it is visible from inside! Such a wonderful gift! Pat using the new front entrance to put our cleanings out into the loader there. Paul shared that this will allow him and grandpa to step inside for a meal and share it with the family as they regroup and plan the work for that day! I love all the plans they have made to make this a wonderful open family farm!
I missed the setting colors last evening, but they were there and it was so great to see it as we worked and swept all the sawdust from the day's work. Maybe I will get the picture taken earlier tonight... many sunset pictures to come in the future as we gather in the kitchen for our large family meals - Ruth will be the chief cook and bottle washer in this a farm house filled once again with a young farm family!
I love these of dad and Luke playing farming with bales! I haven't been taking pictures of the 8 grandkids over at Ruth's as we have been very busy getting ready for the plumber and the electrician. Ruth has been told that she could be painting walls in a couple weeks!
Nancy and I are off to KC in the morning. I am glad that I have had all this time this week to get a lot done here. It will be much better to leave now than a week ago, so the weather over the weekend did me a favor. In other words Divine Providence is at work in our lives!
A friend battling cancer placed this on today as she is facing another surgery in her journey... how it rings true in our journey with John as well as the day to day craziness of this life these days. But don't we all face those difficulties in our day to day life, and we have to realize and remind ourselves over and over that Jesus is in control in the midst of our storms? Yes!
The two grandsons love to share their grandpa, and sometimes like to keep him all to themselves.
The Gospel covers it all today... Jesus visiting homes and healing our loved ones, Jesus healing all those that we lift up to him at our doorsteps, there is a crowd of them... at times I pray for all that need you and realize that is all of us! Then Jesus models for us how we are to go to a deserted place to pray, and then he goes to the next town and spreads The Word and The Truth, and The Way, and brings us LIFE eternal! May we carry his Mercy and LOVE always in our hearts, minds and souls and never count the cost!

Jesus, I need you to see me through these stormy times of life. You are in control and I long to die to self so that you may live and I give my all to you. Jesus, I trust in you. Amen and Hallelujah
