Three in the bed to pray and sing... Blest new day today!

I have a wonderful luxurious bedroom here in our temp home... the bed is so comfy and the kids all climbed in for prayers with mom and grandma last night.  They pray every night and their sweet little voices repeat The Our Father and Hail Mary and Guardian Angel prayer.  Then they pray for those things on their hearts and for Nancy's kids the poor are always remembered.  Then we sang some old praise and worship songs and Jesus loves the Little Children and Jesus Loves me... the biggest hit - The B-I-B-L-E!  The song starts slow and gets faster and faster with a "Hay" and clap at the end.  It was repeated and led to jumping on the bed with clapping!
Snuggles too!

Today is a good day with better attitudes all around with the dawning of a new day today.  We are just back from a thrift store with a new toy, some books, and costumes to enhance our play time together.  We are adjusting to finding things to do together minus all the fun cousin time.
Gus so excited for his new home and playground... He was quizzing mom about when they thought they would be able to move in.  Maybe in about 3 weeks or less.
Reflecting after their bath...
Happy time with dad on the phone.  Kansas City is so pleasant today - not due to the weather, but due to kids that are happier and that makes mom and grandma happy, too!

It is a feast day today of Titus and Timothy... those that stirred Faith into flame in the lives of the early church!  We too are called to do this in our lives most especially in our domestic Church/family.  How wonderful to share prayer as a family in grandma's bed last night, and now to reap the fruits of that prayer today.
Grandma is allowed to spoil granddaughters with a puppy purse.
Toys to add to the day?  Bless-bless, Barb
