Hallelujah!!! "Humbly welcome the word that has been planted in you and is able to save your souls." Hallelujah!

So thrilled to find that today was the feastday of St Josephine Bahkita!!!  Why?  Because this little sweetheart is named after her, and when her siblings say her full name they always include Bahkita after Josephine even though her true middle name is Frances.

Josephine will be 2 in May, and has beautiful blond curly hair and her mommy's big brown eyes.  She is a active and lively girl with a big voice, and is very good for her grandma and grandpa.  This quote shared by her patron saint today really is so powerful and shows us what a powerful example JoJo will have to follow down the narrow path towards heaven forever with Jesus, Mary and all the saints including St Josephine!

This was one of the many beautiful quotes or Catholic posts that I shared on FB today.  How true is this statement when we consider the way the Crosses in our lives bring us to find our Faith in Jesus, our Way, our Truth, and our LIFE!

I shared freely today and didn't hold back after Pat shared with me that he had read an article about the hundreds that are hired to scout FB for things that are pornographic or vividly violent in order to take them down.  How horrible!!!  Pat said that the woman writing the article spoke about some images of child porn she could not get out of her head.  Who would ever go there or share that?   It is terrifying to even think about how evil some are!

So>>>>>>>>>>>>>>  I shared my wonderful Catholic message without holding back today and much of it was having to do with St Josephine Bahkita!

You can just feel her gratitude for coming to Jesus and his Bride, The Church, no matter how painful and horrible as being ripped from her African home and made  a slave!
I love this one of Josephine with her wonderful daddy, Bill!  A wonderful man Nancy found, who is open to life and raising LIGHTS!

I am so excited about a ministry my Nancy has begun to share the devotion to Mary/the rosary prayer far and wide!  I have let her do all the work and come up with a wonderful booklet, and am jumping on with some financial support to share in her ministry!  I am so excited to get the 100 booklets of the 2,000 she had printed in the mail soon!

LOVE!!!  It is no secret that I adore this prayer and for me it has become the answer to the St Paul message of praying without ceasing!  The peace washes over me when the beads are in my fingers and when I face difficulties the "Hail Mary's" allow me to trust in HIM!
Mary, almost 12yo, held her baby sister, Joy, 10 months old, who feel asleep waiting for mom and dad to come home from FF!  I was sharing with Pat this morning how when baby Josephine came to visit her farm cousins for the first time... both Mary and her younger sister, Rose, sat around their mother saying; "sister, sister, sister, sister!"  Well, girls the Lord answered your wish and now your love has grown bigger with another sibling to love and grow up with!

Last night Pat and I did our Wednesday night time with the 6 over at the farm... we watch the kids while their parents teach Faith Formation... the young people need to see this wonderful young Catholic couple that follows Jesus and His Church!
Pat reading with Kindergartener, Rose, and Joy loves to stand up by her grandpa's legs!  It is such a special gift to have a big growing family on the farm!!!

The Gospel today is welcomed with the amazing "Alleluia, Alleluia...Humbly welcome the word that has been planted in you
and is able to save your souls.
R. Alleluia, alleluia."
So very true, and the wind beneath my wings each new day starting the night before when I read the readings for the next day with great excitement and anticipation!  The Word/Jesus speaks to me each day as the Holy Spirit directs my heart to where he feeds me with The Truth and quenches my thirst with "living water."
Now grandpa helps 3rd grader, David, to read a book while brother, Luke, and sister, Joy, listen in...

Reading the Gospel story today of the woman, who was not put off by Jesus telling her that he had come firstly for the Jews... “Lord, even the dogs under the table eat the children’s scraps.”  Mark 7  And we know that Jesus had a plan for all people/the Gentiles to come to him starting with the conversion of St Paul!  No matter what we face and how far we get off the track... we need humbly ask for even the scraps under the table and He will listen to our pleas!
How special to be 11 years old and to have a baby sister to snuggle to sleep?  And they have 4 other siblings to always call family.

Jesus, in our domestic Church/family we can find happiness and contentment if only we place you first in our lives!  If we listen to the Truth we are given through your Word which is planted in us to save our souls!  We are called to listen to the Wisdom of The Church and not be shopping cart Catholics, but to follow all that we are given and The Church is there to help us get to heaven forever with You, my Jesus, with your Mother, Mary the Mother of God, and all the Saints, most especially today St Josephine Bahkita, and Saint Jerome Emiliani.  Jesus, we trust in you.  Amen and Hallelujah
Love this!!!  Josephine, almost 2, with her siblings Bernadette, who is 5, Augustine holding her, is 6 1/2, and Dominic, who is 3 1/2.  They lost a brother, Maximilian on Thanksgiving day, he was20 weeks in the womb.
The family together at Maximilian's burial... Father Craig officiated at the service..."You are a pro-life family."  Yes, we are with all our hearts, minds and souls!  Bless-bless, Barbara Mary Luke and her Pro-life family!
Love this!!!  And so true!!

My St Bernadette at Lourdes!  LOVE , love , love!  From FB today!
