Snow movers..."with him is plenteous redemption" Psalm 130

Pat and grandson, Luke, came over in Pat's "Kitty cat/Cat's meow" pay loader to move the inches of snow we got last evening. 

With all the heavy moving and lifting on the farm... it just made sense to have a pay loader to save the tractors.  Pat loves this one and has fond names for his CAT/Caterpillar...  Pat looked and researched high and low for this, and got exactly what he wanted!

We have had a brown winter up until now and although it is pretty... we could have done without it.  My husband loves brown winters, and he hopes for warmer weather next week when we get into the thick of our calving!


Looking over the readings for today the psalm grabbed me and the promise of plenteous redemption gave me hope and peace.  Redemption's meaning is a bit tricky for me..."the action of saving or being saved from sin, error, or evil."  This promise combined with the words of Christ today warning us against anger towards others.  We need Jesus to help us leave those angers and resentments behind us!

I find that it is so powerful in letting go of angers and resentments in my time in Adoration in which I place all of the members of both of our huge extended families in the monstrance with Jesus!  How can I hold onto any feelings of angst when I am gazing into the humble face of LOVE/Jesus in the form of bread/the Bread of LIFE in the monstrance? 

All the angst vanishes... Pat has accompanied me to Adoration the last couple times I have gone!   I find tremendous peace and can lay my burdens at his feet and TRUST! 


My heart felt prayer is that I may see any error or sin or evil and lay it before him in the confessional to find his plenteous redemption and forgiveness and in turn return to others the unconditional LOVE and forgiveness I have been given!

A rare snow this winter, and more to come tomorrow when we are having a day Holy Spirit retreat!  Placing it in your hands, O Lord, and trusting...


"Therefore, if you bring your gift to the altar,
and there recall that your brother
has anything against you,
leave your gift there at the altar,
go first and be reconciled with your brother,... "  Jesus words to us in the Gospel from Mt 5 today


Lord, may peace begin with me this day... may I turn the other cheek and give without counting the cost.  Reveal to me anything I might be holding in anger against others... most especially those in my domestic Church/family.  The ones closest to us are the ones we hurt the most.  Help us to love others are we are loved and give them the plenteous redemption we are given my you.  Jesus, we trust in you.  Amen
