Aren't we all sick to our core/heartsick today after another senseless mass shooting of innocent school children? This quote from St Mother Teresa makes total sense out of this horrible act to me!
Life has lost all value in the eyes of the world as they have embraced abortion/the taking of life in the womb as good and normal and acceptable! How did this ever happen, and how could there be such blindness to the Truth that LIFE is a beautiful gift from God from conception to natural death?
The family gathered around Bill and Nancy's family as we laid Maximilian to rest a few days after Thanksgiving. Father Craig touched our hearts and expressed the Truth when he called us "a Prolife family." We value ALL LIFE and are open to LIFE and raising them as LIGHTS to this world of sin and darkness.
Maximilian died at 20 weeks in the womb due to a cord injury, and we honored him with a burial at the cemetery and a place to visit him. He is in heaven with Jesus and his brother, Peter, two cousins and 7 aunts and uncles - Nancy's siblings which we lost and grieved as a family!
Visiting grandma Ann's grave and there also rest my two boys lost at 20 weeks due to a cord injury, William and Robert! Yes, we are Prolife and our 11 in heaven keep our eyes focused on getting there to meet our loved ones and be forever with Jesus, Mary and the Saints!

Two of our new granddaughters in the last year... Each of our daughters had a baby girl in less than a year! LIFE is a beautiful gift!!!
The three together at Christmas!
"Thus says the Lord GOD:
Cry out full-throated and unsparingly,
lift up your voice like a trumpet blast;
Tell my people their wickedness,..." Isaiah 58
God seems to be speaking to our sinful dark world of death!!! He asks us to fast and mortify ourselves and also to fast in this way:
This, rather, is the fasting that I wish:
releasing those bound unjustly,
untying the thongs of the yoke;
Setting free the oppressed,
breaking every yoke;
Sharing your bread with the hungry,
sheltering the oppressed and the homeless;
Clothing the naked when you see them,
and not turning your back on your own.
Then your light shall break forth like the dawn, Isaiah 58 - the first reading from mass today.
Another time the 3 married daughters had 3 within 6 months of each other! These three are all 5 now!
Best buddies at Christmas! Now they are fabulous 5!
O Jesus, my heart groans within me!!! Taking of innocent life has become the norm and has become accepted and championed by the culture of death! May the Truth be known deep in our hearts... that LIFE is to be protected and cherished from conception to natural death. Be with the families of those grieving the loss of their loved ones today, and those affected by abortion. Be with all those making this TEC weekend and may we all come closer to you, my Jesus! Jesus, we trust in you. Amen
Bernadette and Rose sharing with Father Craig after the graveside service for Berna's brother, Max. We are so blessed by the wonderful cousin priest and all that he does for our family! Speaking to his mother... I could not hold back the tears of gratitude to him and to God and to our glorious Catholic Church!

My main man when I was a new Catholic - Imitation of Christ is a must read!
Great for Lent!!!

“Let the storm rage and the sky darken – not for that shall we be dismayed. If we trust as we should in Mary, we shall recognize in her, the Virgin Most Powerful who with virginal foot did crush the head of the serpent.”
– Pope St. Pius X
