Dad is off to Vets for some tests today. Mom and I are here having a quiet day, but we did talk about how the "Hail Mary" are words directly from the Gospel as Elizabeth encounters Mary pregnant with Jesus!
When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting,
the infant leaped in her womb,
and Elizabeth, filled with the Holy Spirit,
cried out in a loud voice and said,
“Blessed are you among women,
and blessed is the fruit of your womb..."
Each day the rosary takes me deep into prayer for my family, Godchildren, extended family, husband, The Church... I am anticipating my chapel on wheels as I go home tonight in the dark.
Today Ruth and Nancy and John are gathered at the farm freezing sweet corn! Large family days of canning food for our 7 families is a happy time of hard work shared with young and old. The old is 4 hours away today and missing out on the family day supreme!

Yes! All generations call you Blessed! LOVE that the families of my children share The Rosary as a family! When I was with both Nancy and Maria's families for the birth of their new sons in Feb and March... the family rosary was a special gift each day!
Jesus with your Mother, Mary in heaven forever. How we long to be there with you now and forever. May we die to self so that you my live in us! May we be your hands and feet! Jesus, we trust in you. Amen and Hallelujah

As Catholics we believe that Jesus Christ is TRULY PRESENT - Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity in the Holy Eucharist.
This alone should make you never want to miss Mass - and why Mass should be the highlight of your week.
The Eucharist is not just a symbol to Catholics. The Eucharist is Jesus Christ TRULY PRESENT. This is why Catholics bow (or kneel) when we go up to receive Holy Communion. We are not receiving merely bread and wine. We are receiving the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ.
It doesn't get any better than this!

Mother of Mercy,
