The rising sun brought dazzling LIGHT to add beauty and wonder to Mary, Our Lady of Guadalupe pregnant with the unborn Jesus in her womb, and overhead Jesus dead on the cross! From conception to death this brings to me! Yes, Jesus death was not natural yet He died for the world bearing our sins for us to be freed!
Praying for Fr Todd after sharing mass with Pat.. I am marveling at The beauty and wisdom of The Church and Mary certainly brings us only there to the One True Church as that is the only place she is loved and given the utmost respect that she deserves!
Father Todd lighting the 6 candles on the altar before mass in the dark this morning... I was in the midst of praying for him on Friday with 7 Sisters, who lift him up each day of the week!
Father preached on the Vineyard parable from the Gospel today... It makes no sense to think as the tenants did that if they kill the son they will end up with the inheritance... they will be put in jail or executed for what they did. We must follow Him in order to bear fruit and come into The Kingdom of heaven!
Usually when I pray for Father I include praying the office of morning prayer on my phone and the office of readings. It felt super special to share Morning prayer with Father and about a dozen others this morning after mass! I know that I am joining him in prayer, and today I truly was!!
It made a bit sad that my dad is now closed off to me, and my fake plans to spend the night with him tomorrow can't happen as no one can come in to his assisted living or come out. I love to pray the office in the morning with my Deacon father and mother. I guess it will have to wait. So many things are closed now...
Jesus falls the 3rd time over our heads, and being stripped of his garments - the 10th station of total Humility where Susan/Hallel knelt each morning and prayed after leaving the discernment house in St Paul. Her prayers were answered when The Community of the Lamb came to Kansas City a few months later and in front of Our Lady of Guadalupe altar she said "yes" to Jesus and became a Little Sister!
After Morning prayer I moved forward... sitting by the side altar to Our Lady of Guadalupe... the sun poured in a lit up Jesus on the Cross! The sorrowful mysteries today and Father Todd had shared on Sunday that while visiting his mother the day before, a phone call came in telling her that her brother had just died. "One minute she would be weeping and then giggle at memories that she recalled."
Father reported that he is now on his way to his Uncle's funeral. Special prayers pondering the end of life in this world and how we long to go on to LIFE eternal with Jesus, Mary and all our deceased family and The Angels and Saints!

Today's Psalm is one of contrition for unworthiness as Joseph sold into slavery by his brothers, yet the Lord miraculously used him to save many from the famine and to become a valued ruler in Egypt!

Gazing on Jesus dead on the Cross during prayer of the Chaplet of Divine Mercy today.. knowing that Fr would be officiating with his family at his Uncle's mass today. We are so blessed to have such beautiful and meaningful prayers to bring us to His Feet to find comfort and strength!
The LIGHT/LIFE/LOVE... the Cross has become the Tree of LIFE from which comes fruit that will feed us and give us the ability to die to self so that Jesus can live and move and minister, and heal and comfort and dwell in us... as the Gospel ended today...
The stone that the builders rejected
has become the cornerstone;
by the Lord has this been done,
and it is wonderful in our eyes?

Yes! It is so wonderful in our eyes to see The Truth of what we have gained from Jesus dying on the Cross and how we are called to follow Him down the narrow path carrying dragging our Most Cherished Cross and giving without counting the cost!
Such a sight to hold my attention and heart!
Jesus from womb to death fills me with endless Truth!
Jesus and Mary, I love you, save souls! May we die to self so that the Holy Spirit may use us as His hands and feet! Jesus, we trust in you. It is wonderful to our eyes of our heart! Bless-bless, Barb
5 years ago today! LOVE! We had twins overnight - twin heifers with identical white faces like their mother! So many twins this year! The year of twins!
