This will be quick of word and long of photo is my plan at this point.... I think that I will let the photos do the talking of the beautiful family time that we were blessed with over the weekend... we were surprised by our daughter, Maria, and her family for a quick 24 hour overnight... arriving in time to go to the Easter Vigil with their two small children, and then having "little kid Easter fun" over with Ruth and Paul and our other three grandchildren. Grandma had crazy dress matching plans for photos that we attempted with some fairly good results... little soon to be 4 year old Mary was pretty sick with strep then an allergic reaction to antibiotic... but she perked up a bit for the morning. It was a wonderful time!
The vigil last night was wonderful to share with our family and our church community... Many smiling and supportive faces and John with his lit candle at the beginning... the light certainly has filled us in the last months... as I put on our Easter tree with new little grandson, David Joseph, and John with Fr Craig at Lourdes... "birth and rebirth"... Thank you Lord and Savior of us all... Jesus Christ is Risen! Halleluia! (I have to add the H this year as it is what our daughter Susan has chosen for her name in the community of the Lamb... our son in law even climbed up to put an "H" on is Alleluia on his barn! It has special meaning to us this year.... Happy Easter from the Verlys!
