Comparing the growth and beauty

At about the same time that Rose was born - the corn was planted.  They both have changed a lot in the last 4 months+.  The corn, of course, was just a kernal/seed placed in the ground and now it has become a plant with a ear or two of corn with many kernals.   Some of the stalks will be baled into to corn stalk bales and be fed or used for bedding, but most important is the corn to be put in the bins and sold for an amazing price!  But compared to the beauty and changes in our little Rosebud over the same time - well, there is nothing anywhere close to her!  But going out in the corn field on the edge of a bean field to take some late evening pictures was a special thing... I held Rose and sister, Mary, age 6 took these great pictures.  Their daddy, who is in Washington DC, can now see his sweet little Rose is much more beautiful by far than the corn and beans planted when she was born!  Together they make a masterpiece!
Bless-bless, Barb

The 4 in the backhoe as promised.  You have wonderful kids and beautiful too!
