Lobbying for Cyril… Perfect day in Texas for the young and old!

We have 6 grandkids here 5 and under, and it is about 70 degrees outside so the kids were all out the door into the backyard first thing this morning.  Now they are all gone to the park a few blocks away with their beloved Bumpa/grandpa!  Nancy keeps talking about how this is all adding up to the most wonderful time of Gus's life!  Watching movies all day with pop and candy and even his favorite cheetos with his best buddy.  Now he is going to the park with the two Davids and Boompa with short sleeves on and a small digger bucket in his hands to play with.  "Gus must feel like he is in Heaven!"says his mom
The already warm/hot sun was shining in the eyes of the kids on the bench… but we got a few keepers before we released the kids to play!
Today in the Gospel Jesus heals the deaf man with the speech impediment… "Ephphatha!" "Be opened!"  - "He has done all things well.  He makes the deaf hear and the mute speak."  Looking at these beautiful joyful faces - I too can say with such wonder and awe - "He has done all things well!"  Even little Patrick, who has a fever of some unknown origins over the last few days.  Thankfully with tylenol he is feeling better after that gets his fever down!  So all 6 were outside enjoying the wonders of spring/summer weather knowing that it is 0 degrees at home just a two day trips away!
Grandpa with his arms full of the two granddaughters - the rest are very active grandsons that run around with swords!
I love to watch all the activity
I delighted her Godmother and Aunt Nancy with this precious picture and statement for Catholic Schools week!  I finally can figure out how to share it here, and hope that it brings equal happiness to others!  I can so see my Mary decked in blue someday!  It is so powerful for her to have this beautiful option to consider in her life ahead!  So sweet that she already knows of the love of God for her and that he could be calling her to be HIS totally.
Another heart warmer in the warm Texas sun!  Jesus, thank you for our two day journey that led us to this happy time of Family!  There is talk of going to the zoo - the zoo going to the zoo!  May we share your JOY one with the other - knowing that "He has done all things well."  Mark 7:31-37
Jesus, we trust in YOU.  Bless-bless, Barbara Luke
