The grandsons are outnumbering the granddaughters by almost 2 to 1. Very different from our family of 4 girls and one boy. There are a couple granddaughters that remind me a lot of one of our 4 Verly girls... Therese looks like her mom, Maria, and Rose looks a lot like her Aunt Susan/Hallel! It is so fun for me to have that sweet memory looking me in the eyes. I love all my grandchildren so much, but there is just something so fun to have those that look so much like my kids did! Rose is also making herself remembered by her mischief! She is very good when she is alone over with grandma and grandpa, but when she is in the mix of her older 3 siblings and younger 3 month old brother... it is almost like she wants to get her attention negatively. When mom is distracted she is off getting into something. One of her favorite places is up at the bathroom sink and getting water for this or that or all over this or that. At least it is water... She reminds me a lot of her Aunt Maria, who I nicknamed Housemouse because she would get into everything. I had never had to baby proof my house with the older two, but that all changed with my Maria. Just as Maria was "every bit as good as your other girls" when she started school... I am sure that will be true for zesty little Rosita! Zesty Zita we love you and surely know that you are alive and well in our kind of crazy world!
