Daily mass starts the day right - Priceless Heavenly Treasure

Yes, we took the 3 including 8 day old Dominic to mass this morning.  Guess what?  Dominic was the best behaved!  He was a sleepy little angel while the other two were at times singing loudly from the hymnal or moving around the kneeler, pew, or floor.  I got the joy of carrying Dominic up in my arms to receive Jesus, and it was a most precious feeling to be holding new life in my arms as I was receiving LIFE itself/God in the Eucharist!  Even with my own 5 children... I would rarely have the honor of carrying the new one to receive Jesus.  Pat would have that new baby in his big arms and proudly and joyously carry the new baby during church.  I always loved that love of LIFE he has and now he longs to carry or hold the grand babies and it melts the hearts or many around us at mass as well as mine!
Nancy wants to attend mass with her 3 at least once a weekday.  It will be a challenge but will also give her special LOVE and Grace to face all in her life.
Today Jesus tells us in the Gospel to keep our treasures in Heaven and not in worldly things.  To spend this time with Nancy, Bill, and their growing family is truly where I find my treasure lies - Faith/Family/Farm is where I find the wonder and Joy of LIFE/LOVE/LIGHT!
So special that we are surrounded by images of Mother and Child/ Mary and Jesus!  Bernadette knows this Truth and Beauty in her own home watching her beautiful mother with her new brother/gift from God, Dominic Patrick!
Lovingly and peaceful is little week old Dominic on his mom's shoulder last night.  He went to bed at 11p and slept until 4:30a to eat and go back to sleep - a wonderful night for mom!
Finding his thumb - after 4 girls that sucked their thumbs - it seems great fun to have grandchild #11 to look like my first thumb sucker!
Jesus, your precious little ones show us the wonder and awe to be found in newness of LIFE in our midst.  Our love grows bigger and more complete with each new member that we are blessed with!  Our treasure lies in our Faith and our Family and there we find a small slice of heaven here on earth as we embrace our most Cherished Cross and find LIFE/LOVE/LIGHT as our family grows with our Yes to LIFE!  We thank you for feeding us every day.  I will always smile remembering the story of one of John's Fraternity brothers at Farmhouse... he was an Efree and in love with Jesus and one day he enthusiastically exclaimed; "Wouldn't it be amazing if you could worship at church every day!"  John and Brad Lanoue looked at each other and said; "There is... in the Catholic Church!"  We are here filled with all that matters and the real Treasures for us to keep of utmost importance in our lives here on earth... the Sacraments, your Word, Our Lady, The Saints, Prayer without ceasing!  Jesus, we trust in YOU.  Amen and Hallelujah
Bless-bless, Barbara Luke
I came across this verse that I had calligraphied on a piece of wood in my early Catholic days...
"My beloved spoke, and said unto me,  Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away.  For lo the winter is past and gone.  The flowers appear on the earth, the time of the singing of the birds has come. "
Song of Songs 2:10
A beautiful sharing of newness of LIFE upon the earth,in our souls through the Holy Spirit giving us new life after we die to self, and now a new member of our family revealing how life is wondrous and holy and to be protected and cherished at all costs!
As we prayed at mass today for all those that are considering abortion this day that they may turn away from this and give LIFE to the little one in their womb!  Hear our prayer, O Lord!
Bernadette came in my room when I was packing to go, and her and grandma ended up with all my "pretties" on us!  Too fun!
Fun girl time.. with two brothers she needs a grandma with treasures/pretties to play with her.

Third Day - God of wonders
