Bill with his head bowed for a Father's Day blessing - ponders the miracle of his new son. No better way to feel in the depth of his heart the miracle of LIFE and how blessed he is to be given this little son to raise as a LIGHT to the world. Taking him to mass with his family when he is just 3 days old is certainly showing him where they place their utmost value - Their Faith in their Catholic Church!
A family picture of sharing our Faith!
I am borrowing John's computer this morning and mine is heading in, so I will make this quick this morning. I returned home to work and catch up with things around here. We have had so much rain, and are dealing with all that with the crops and concerns for the livestock! Lord, we thank you for our newest grandson, and for the wonder of new LIFE and for the selflessness of parents, who say Yes to LIFE, and for how if we die to self - You come and dwell within us and lead us to the path of eternal LIFE! We find true happiness if we give without counting the cost. Jesus, we trust in YOU. Amen and Hallelujah
Bless-bless, Barbara Luke
John got to meet his newest nephew after a wonderful "retreat" weekend with the NET team! Lord, we ask for your direction.
Giving to the one who asks all by ST Therese
"Alas, he in not far, he is there, very close. He is looking at us, and he is begging this sorrow, this agony from us. He needs it for souls and for our soul. He wants to give us such beautiful recompense, and his ambitions for us are very great. But now he can say, 'My turn,' if ours hasn't come, if we have given him nothing? Alas, it does pain him to give us sorrows to drink, but he knows this is the only means of preparing us to 'know him, as he knows himself and to become God ourselves.' Oh! what a destiny. How great is our soul...
Jesus is asking all, all, all."
