Furthest away from the heart - withered hand/His Body which is The Church!/JOY!!!!

Joy with her grandpa Pat on this misty morning on the farm!  He put his hat on her to keep the rain off of her.  Grandma got to hang out with this sweet girl - getting her dressed, sharing breakfast...
She brought a special headband to me for one of my favorite things to do after having 4 girls to start our family and then you had that boy!
We had to do some baby kitty pictures by the big front picture window, but today it was covered with rain drops and it is dark and misty foggy day out there!
Such a soft picture this dark rainy morning on the farm!

I am needed to help John with studies today and then I will be heading to my parents, who need me, too!  I do like being in the middle of the sandwich these days always with a fresh tomato slice!  Maybe I am the tomato slice!  The Gospel story today of the withered  hand speaks to me of those things in my life that become useless and withered as they are far away from my heart or Jesus in my life!
I think you can see her name... JOY!

There are those dark places that I think I can hide from my Lord and not deal with and become withered and useless.  There is nothing that I can keep from Him... He knows it all so why not lay it all at his feet in the confessional and allow him to restore and heal me?
Such a sweet hour to start my day this was!

The words from Luke 6 today!
Then Jesus said to them,
"I ask you, is it lawful to do good on the sabbath
rather than to do evil,
to save life rather than to destroy it?"
Looking around at them all, he then said to him,
"Stretch out your hand."
He did so and his hand was restored.

Our heart pumps blood to the furthest extremities and they can be healthy and useful to us with all that we need to accomplish each day of this journey down the narrow path!  May we not cut off that supply and allow those places far away from our heart/Jesus to wither, but always give it all to Him and humbly trust in his healing and love for us no matter what!
 Now the fluffy grey one!

Jesus, how we long to be wholey yours and healed and fully able to love and serve you without counting the cost by serving those the closest to us!  How we long to be a full and willing member of your Body which is The Church as St Paul reminds us today in Collossians.  How I thank and praise you with each new day as The Church fills me with so much from The Word, Sacraments, Your Mother and all the Saints, Prayer of The Church and The Rosary filled with your LIFE laid out for us!  Jesus, I love you and trust in you.  Amen and Hallelujah
Rubber boots in puddle pictures is appropriate as we are approaching 2 inches of rain!  A thunder storm is going on right now with a downpour!
How I love rubber boot pictures with little smiling girls!
Pat with his Joy Joy!
It reminds me of this one which is in our bathroom of Pat with Nancy at 2.  One thing has not changed... he loves all the little ones and loves to share his love for the farm with them.  The gray thinning hair is a change, but he still is so hunky to me!  Bless-bless, Barb
Pure Joy by mom's pretty flowers and the fog behind... now pouring rain!
 David's table with Ruth's sunflowers!
Now the rain is pouring all around.
Bales in out of the rain in the shop makes it smell very nice in there this morning!
4 years ago - 2 year old Rose with baby kitties on a much nicer day.
 Soft pictures..
Mom's afghan too!

A look at the fog which is now pouring rain!

How I love to ponder those years with his parents!  LOVE!  I can only imagine how much he shared with Mary and Joseph!

I can only imagine - Mercy Me

Kutless - Holy of Holies - it is in The Church!!!  Come there and see Him!
