Luke and grandma 6 years ago...
An amazing picture taken by a neighbor of an angel watching over harvest! How we love Nature and how we depend upon it as we are farmers and God is in control!
Angel by another neighbor - face aglow!
A third picture from the area!
Under the 9th Station - David at mass this morning with his 6th grade class - Jesus falls the 3rd time!
Rose coming into mass with her 4th grade class!
Luke is in 2nd grade and will be having his first Communion this year! So exciting! Father spoke to us about the Gospel and how those women that followed with Jesus and the Apostles cared for the needs of Jesus out of their resources and gifts. "Lets us be using our gifts to help Jesus." Such a good reminder to us and all the kids in the Catholic School!
Accompanying him were the Twelve
and some women who had been cured of evil spirits and infirmities,
Mary, called Magdalene, from whom seven demons had gone out,
Joanna, the wife of Herod’s steward Chuza,
Susanna, and many others
who provided for them out of their resources. Luke 8
I always smile when I see Susanna mentioned. When our Susan/Hallel was little she would ask me where her name was in the Bible. I would mention that Susanna was in both the OT and NT. In the same way as Susanna helping and following Jesus our Susan now Little Sister Hallel is married to Jesus and serving him with her all!!!
Joy wore her Easter dress to go to mass, but her age doesn't go! She looked pretty and special all day.
Luke with grandma 6 years ago - he was close to 2 years old and he makes me think that my garden was better than I remember!
LOVE my clothesline pictures with the dogs, who are both gone now.
There are some wonderful things to share today, but hubby is here to take me away...
Yes, the world around us can be chaotic and loud. How I love my quiet time - soon I will be alone in the beautiful church praying with 7 Sisters for Fr Denny! Such a gift!!!So cute! How I love to think of those that have said "yes" to a call to religious life.
WE are loved no matter how flawed we are!
May we serve without counting the cost!
Yes, there is much out there trying to entice us to do evil! It is just a click away! Lord, help us to live for God!
I love this! Yes, we Catholics are romantics as we are so surrounded by beauty and love and life and light! Candlelight, flowers, beautiful stain glass windows, beautiful music - if someone is practicing for mass, Mary, Queen of Heaven and Earth , and Jesus on his throne of The Cross will be there to show me the way of being a Romantic Catholic in an hour as I pray! Talk about Romantic!!!
Wow just Wow!!! My Most Cherished Cross is what I embrace to find LIFE/LOVE/LIGHT!
Maria with her precious newborn, Romeo, 7 years ago just as he was coming home after a few days in NICU just to be sure that he was as healthy as he looks! I was on my way to fly there and hold my new precious grandson! Maria has added 3 more since ... Evangeline, Hector and Maggie Rose!
Dad today - Deacon Robert with St Robert Bellarmine... in the morning office of readings!
More teachings!
St Mother Teresa today reminds us of how we are called to humility - accept them cheerfully! So hard!
A surprise when I turned the page to today in mom's daily meditations by Pope Benedict XVI! A small note, which is like she is giving me this message specially! Such a powerful sharing by Pope Benny - The church of the suffering gives credibility to Christ: She is God's success in the world; the sign that gives hope and courage; the sign from which thereby purifies men and opens up for God a door into this world.
Singing about Jesus and Mary as we drive the bales home - Little Luke and grandma!
Yeah! Grandma made it home driving the tractor and a wagon of bales!
Mirror image again! Jesus, how we are in love with you and your beautiful glorious Church! We are in need of your unconditional love and forgiveness and then we need to give that same to those around us especially those the closest to us in our domestic Church/family. Jesus, we trust in you. Amen and HallelujahRuth's landscaping around Our Lady at The Catholic School!
She is with me each day as I pray!
That Evil Serpent Satan is crushed under her heel!!! He is done, if we look to Jesus through Mary!
My farm house 6 years ago... now it is Ruth's and this room is her bedroom! She totally flipped it and made it her own!
The front room is now their family room/office. LOVE to see the young farm family there making the farm used and loved and many hands help with the unending work! Thanks, Simon, Mary, David, Rose, Luke and Joy for all that you do to show your love and respect for the farm and feeding the world. Ruth and Paul too!!! Bless-bless, Barbara
