Pat shared another moment in the day that seemed to be led by the Holy Spirit in it's timing. "I had just turned off the truck after unloading it and had a time to wait for the next load... the phone rang and it was Hallel in France, and they sang a blessing song for me on my birthday! We were able to talk about 15 minutes and she told me that on Tuesday Little Sister Benedict is coming to Kansas City with other American sisters, and they want Nancy and Bill to stop in while they are there for Emily's funeral."
Such exciting news to know that our close Little Sister Benedict is going to be here 6 hours away! She is so loved by us and we haven't seen her for some years now. Pat is already saying that after harvest we will be heading to KC to see our Family of the Lamb and see how our chickens are doing there. We took 6 day old baby chicks there before Easter this spring!
How I find real Truth of our being together spiritually in our Faith! That gives me so much HOPE and Truth as we are united in Jesus, Mary and The Church! We love ALL that The Church gives us without reservations - united! That is why my rosary beads are huge in our being together in prayer!
On Pat's birthday... these 3 went to watch the Twins in the Cities! David got spoiled by this Godparents!

My companion for the day! 4 year old Joy has Preschool every other day, so today she is grandma's side kick. She is running the circle in my house to get some exercise.

How I love the Gospel today. It is the sinful woman, who is so grateful for the unconditional love and forgiveness of Jesus that she washes his feet with her tears, wipes them with her hair, kisses and anoints them without ceasing! That it so much LOVE!!!!

but she has bathed them with her tears
and wiped them with her hair.
You did not give me a kiss,
but she has not ceased kissing my feet since the time I entered.
You did not anoint my head with oil,

Good old Luke, my patron Saint! I love how he writes about women that have been touched by Jesus' unconditional love and forgiveness! Such a powerful story and one that we can relate to as I am just a week or so away from having a very powerful reconciliation! I love you and thank you Jesus with my ALL!
