Amazing Mary Angela is 16 on Tuesday of Easter Octave/Jesus said to her, "Mary!"/Hallel calls and plans are getting real!

Snowy 7th birthday in 2013

I had to go back and find pictures of granddaughter Mary on her 16th birthday today!  It looks like 2013 was much more wintery than this year.  I am filled with wonder and JOY after reading the Gospel for the 3rd time and suddenly seeing with eyes of Faith this special message to Mary on her Birthday!

Jesus said to her, “Mary!”
She turned and said to him in Hebrew, “Rabbouni,”
which means Teacher.
Jesus said to her, “Stop holding on to me,
for I have not yet ascended to the Father.
But go to my brothers and tell them,
‘I am going to my Father and your Father,
to my God and your God.’”
Mary went and announced to the disciples,
“I have seen the Lord,”
and then reported what he had told her.  John 20

I guess this cold Easter is not so bad in comparison to 2013!  That makes this cold windy Easter week not seem to bad when we see the piles of snow 9 years ago.  I had a tradition of doing photo shoots for birthdays in those days...

Still smiling at the Gospel Truth gifted to Mary on this sweet 16th Birthday - Yes, Jesus does call her by name and she is beloved to her risen Jesus!
Mary in 2014 at 8 years old with baby chick and those beautiful blue eyes!  There was snow that year too!

Mary does so much so well!  She is going to State in Speech, and State with her meat Judging with FFA, she is a goat farmer and kids out and raises to market weight and sells her goats, she works at the local pet kennel and also at the neighboring goat farm - doing chores when they are away, she is an honor student and just plain amazes all of us with all that she does!
In the pasture in 2014 - still a lot of snow!

Hallel beat me to the phone call yesterday as I was going to wait until today to call her.  She had wonderful news that Little Sister Benedict will be coming along for her 4 days on the farm next week.  Benedict is a member of our family as she has been here since The Community of the Lamb first came to the U.S. in 2008!  She was here long enough to become an American - 10 years!  She has been gone to Europe for a few years, but is back since covid made only Americans welcome here.
2015 at 9 with the ever new baby kittens in the spring!

My heart is so full after our wonderful family Easter and now the JOY continues with the readings each day from Acts and John!  Also with the plans that are filling my mind and heart with plans for our gathering!  Ruth and I have down to a science making meals for 32 three times a day and all pitch in to help!  There will be a huge party on Sunday the 1st for Rose, Luke and Romeo!  Rose will be 10. Luke's First Holy Communion, and Romeo's 3rd Communion!
A much warmer spring in 2015!  Leaves coming out on trees, shorts and flowers by Our Lady!  How I hope and pray that we will have a warm spring time with Hallel and Benedict!  Except that will mean that Pat will be busy with spring work.  Other springs Hallel has gone and farmed with her dad by riding along and even helping in her work habit!
2016 - Mary at 10 with her namesake!  I have pictures through the years with her namesake and so today the Gospel is so special for me and for Mary!  Her name is a gift to her that  I hope she will always cherish and be proud of!  Knowing that she is named after her Great-grandmother - Mary Lanoue!  But also after Our Lady, Queen of Heaven and Earth!
The leaves were budding forth in 2016!

Love to see this jacket that I found second hand and has been worn a lot by younger sister, Rose Again!
Mary and Snowball in 2017 at 11!  Mary's love of animals was noticeable with her having a pet heifer and later cow, Snowball!  They recognized and had a love for each other!  Mary thought that it was perfectly normal to have a pet cow!

It has been so interesting to see how she is called upon to do jobs involving animals in the neighborhood.  Then for her to decide that she would like to become a goat farmer a few years ago, and have a growing herd with all that comes with that.  Amazing!
The girls at Joy's Baptism in April 2017 - Mary is 11, Rose is soon to be 5, and Joy is 3 weeks!  They have now added a baby brother, Thomas, and Simon and Mary are his Godparents!  Such a special bond - Mary can help her brother down the narrow path of Faith with heaven as our goal!
2018 at 12 - matchy with grandma and still OK with it!

Grandma loves you so much Mary and I love to share our Faith/Family/Farm!  Always hold that close to your heart and know that Jesus is calling you by name - "Mary!"  He loves you totally unconditionally!  He has a plan just for you, and it will be so perfect - you are truly a LIGHT for the world!  Jesus, we trust in you.  Amen and Hallelujah
Easter last year with her kids! Green grass too!
Paul and Mary holding down the farm while others are away during covid.
On Sunday with the winning bunny cake - Twinkle with Bernadette's help!  Still can have fun with the younger ones!  LOVE seeing my grandchildren sharing memories.
Fun with the little boys at the tubing hill during our family Christmas in January.
Thomas Robert with his Godparents in February - Simon was confirmed an hour before.  Another double Sacrament for Ruth and Paul and family!  So blessed!  Bless-bless, Barbara and the 50 - 33 here and 17 in heaven including our parents!

I actually forgot to bring in my Easter Tree until Easter Sunday!  Since Easter goes on for weeks it is still not too late!  LOVE to watch the leaves come out inside in the warm house.  Just hope my cats leave it alone.  There should be leaves by time Hallel and Benedict arrive!  Maybe lilacs too!  My Easter butterfly and cross might have to wait for our home visit.  This past year - new life with 3 new grandchildren will have to be part of the JOY!
An amazing snow drift in this last storm!  Our Lady in snow!
Wow!  amazing!
For farmer Mary on her 16th Birthday!
Dad today on Tuesday of the Octave of Easter in the Intercessions.  Dad with me every day of my journey sharing our Faith!
No other NAME in the world by which we are saved - Jesus!!!
St Augustine today is wonderful!
Easter WATERS!  Pope Benedict and Mom!  Beautiful!!!
So then, men ought to regard us as servants of Christ
and as those entrusted with the secret things of God.
Now it is required that those who have been given a trust
must prove faithful.  ...You are fools for Christ,
but you are so wise in Christ! - I Cor 4: 1,2,10

"Our people are becoming like Mary of Magdela
when she came to the tomb.
'They have taken the Lord from the tomb,
and we don't know where they put Him' (Jn 20:2).
It is up to us...
to tell our people where our Risen Savior is.

The Blessed Sacrament is our Risen Savior
with all the power of His love and mercy flowing
out to those who come into His presence!
This is where we must run, like Peter and John.
This is where we must bring everyone.

For each hour will advance the day
when the light of His love and mercy will shine out,
and then like Him, His people will be resurrected."
