3 year old Jude was allowed to hold his candle for the service of LIGHT/LOVE/LIFE - the Easter Vigil attended by 4 of our families - a total of 21 from 4 months to 70 years old!
No blogging yesterday as it was a family day of wonder and happiness - reflecting upon it all I am smiling ear to ear and filled with such gratitude to our loving Lord!
The little family of John with wife Bobbi and 2 littles did so well for our 2 hours of service and our eating out afterwards till midnight!Joy in the light of Christ!
The LIGHT on the screen! Mary was a server!
A picture shared from Kansas City - Lumen Christi/LIGHT of Christ Monastery of Hallel in a sea of flowers as she makes the chapel beautiful for Easter Vigil which goes through the night.
I am resisting calling today as they are catching up on their rest, but tomorrow I am going to call my daughter!!!
Picture perfect of our sweet little family! This will be on my wall soon!
Jude was pretty impressed by the two Deacons in their beautiful robes and smiling faces - Deacon Ken and Deacon Travis! I love for my grandkids to see those that are modeling religious life! I long for them to consider that as a option - serving the Lord with their lives! My dad was a permanent Deacon for 44 years after we entered The Church 50 years ago - all 13 of us!
Family Soul Story - Choose Life!: The amazing story of the 13 becoming Catholic!
Now baby chick and two baby bottle goats behind her.
Now for some warm sunshine smiles from our babies! The cold wind continues to howl and make us yearn for spring, but this is helping!
Can't get enough of these two! Next week they will be joined by Maggie Rose from Washington! Grandma can't wait!
Today Easter continues with the Octave of Easter for this week through Sunday the 24th! I smiled reading Brother Victor today as he speaks about Bright Week!
My Bright Monday has certainly begun with so much happiness in my heart, mind and soul! Just back from my chapel on wheels bucking the cold winds taking meals on Wheels to Balaton. The beads passing through my fingers as I thank Jesus through Mary for each and every one of my family! We had so much fun with our Easter Bunny cake making competition. Nancy and these two 3 year olds made their cake Jellybean!
Mary will be 16 tomorrow, and Bernadette is 9 - their sweet cake Twinkle with eye brows and twinkling eyes! LOVE!
Cute and tasty! The lemon pink team - 9 year old Rose, 5 year olds JoJo and Joy!

The Easter snow was a sign of the cold Easter...
9 years ago it was much worse. This robin's life was in danger, but so pretty and puffed up to keep him warm.
4 years ago Nancy and Hallel were both living in KCK, and saw each other on Wednesday Adoration time for Nancy!
John and Bobbi!
6 weeks apart and best buddies - 3 years old and soon they will be joined by Hector, who is 3 weeks younger than George and 3 weeks older than Jude! Yes, 3 boy cousins in 6 weeks!!! I am getting pumped!!!
