Grandpa comes!!!!!!

After driving for most of the night... grandpa has arrived and his arms are full and his smiles are constant!  It seems that he has brought the peace and calm to the little ones - many are missing their dads... in fact all of them are missing their dads!   Little Gus surprised me at how much he seemed to be happy in Grandpa's lap, but I think that he is remembering that this is the guy with all the wonderful brum-brums/tractors!  Yes, somewhere in that one year old brain is the memory of sitting on grandpa's lap on the wonderful glorious tractors.   We all sat around the breakfast table as we shared pancakes and grandpa had child or children on his lap to his great delight as well as the joy of the little ones.
Grandpa was surprised to see little Rose look into his eyes and smile!  "I haven't held Rose for a month, I think, I have been so busy with hay and farming.  It is good to have the time to relax and enjoy my girls and grandkids!"  We are all luxurating in our time away from the "world."  We are very blessed to have this beautiful place to rest and enjoy family on our inland sea - Lake Michigan!  We had a fabulous week with the dads, and now the granddad is here to fill in the loving caring man role, and he is the best at it too!
Pat buried in kids and never happier!  Prayers please for the men in Alghanistan!  Jesus, hold them in the palm of your hand - most especially Joe!  Amen and Halleluia
Bless-bless, Barb
Joe just texted us - he is OK!!!!!!!  Thank you, Our Lady, for your fast work!
The trail winds and passes through the thorns and the weeds of life, but we must trust, and have faith, and Pray at all TIMES!  Pray without ceasing gets us on the narrow path.  Thank you, Lord!
Imaginary watercolor of all of us together - even Joe and Hallel!  WE are together in our hearts and souls!  Jesus, we are forever blessed with faith and family - together we can face all that comes our way!
