My parents arrived back after a huge day away to see friends in South Dakota as well as the Bishop of Sioux Falls for a meeting. We all gathered for a meal and shared news of the days happenings before we said our "Good-byes." My parents will be on the road, and back to their home 4 hours away on the Minnesota-Wisconsin border! Dad is already in bed so that he will be rested for the drive back tomorrow. It has been a good visit with the heat, sweet corn, prayers for rain still not answered, talk about the farm as well as the diaconate, John spending time having visits with his grandparents as never before, and the sharing of his news today that he is looking at entering the seminary this fall! As one young priest said - "It's about time that he listened to the call!" I don't think that it will be much of a surprise to a lot of people, and many feel that John has been spared to share the LIGHT! Jesus, thank you for family times and to still have both my parents is such a gift that I rejoice over! Jesus, we trust in you. Bless-bless, Barb
