So sweet!!!!
Today on her blog - Maria shared this very sweet and special gift that Therese made for her to take to the hospital when she was to have Romeo... "She knew I couldn't take our home "prayer nook" with me, so she made a mini one for me! Isn't she just the sweetest?! I honestly appreciated it and kept it on my bedside table the entire time. Thank you, T!" I know that Maria shared this from her heart! There is such a connection to all the Saints that have traveled this journey ahead of us! We are blessed with their example of perseverance no matter what they faced as well as their intercession for us at the feet of Jesus in Heaven! How special to have your little 6 year old daughter understand that and give the gift of great price to her mother while in the hospital to have a scheduled C-section to have her miracle son - Romeo Joseph!
The 4 in the midst of their prayer space... the Saints along with Jesus and His Mother, Mary Most Holy, will always walk with them - they will know that they are never alone on their journey of LIFE/LOVE/LIGHT!
Jesus in the Gospel reminds us today of the Truth that we are given the greatest sign of our salvation - Jesus embracing and accepting the Cross/death for our sins! We are called to come and embrace our Most Cherished Cross and follow after HIM!
Maria and Joseph hold their new son in the "prayer space" in their home filled with some of the wonder and majesty that we are blessed with by The Church! There is so much awaiting us if only we are open and willing to learn and grow in the Truth that will set us free!
Jesus, we can experience a small slice of heaven here on earth as we watch our little ones grow in The Truth! To see the understanding of all that surrounds us in our spiritual journey... with eyes of Faith. We have that Hope, LOVE, Joy, happiness, ability to embrace the Cross that comes to us with LIFE, gentleness, courage in the face of hardships and accepting of humbling circumstances, all that we face and give without counting the cost. We are called to raise LIGHTS and to pass our faith on with great JOY! May we be up to the task and give our all to those most especially those the closest to us in our domestic Church/family. Jesus, we trust in YOU. Amen and Hallelujah
Newly baptized into the Church - "He has Jesus in his heart." His brother, David.
Bless-bless, Barbara Luke
No better than a quote from St Therese on this day! What an amazing example Therese has to look to throughout her life!
Third Day - Cry out to Jesus
We continue to hold in our hearts Joseph as he is seeking the Lord's plan for his life. He plays guitar and sings like Third Day!
I love this - Jeff Cavins explaining how we are called to listen to Jesus speak to us through The Word... Lectio Divino is how Hallel and her community take the Word and become Christ knocking on the door of the poor. Listen to this beautiful explanation of what The Church is calling us to!
