They are heading out to rip up the corn field and they are wearing sunglasses... Amy said that after a few hours out there that it got warm sitting with the sun beating in on them surrounded by all those windows. It's nice to see, but the sun is very bright and warm in there.
John's girlfriend, Amy, came down to see the farm this weekend and gave me permission to take pictures...
So when they went out to rip in the quad track - I went out there to take some pics, and only shared one... here are more.
The ripper that they pulled back and forth to break open the earth after the crop is off of it.
Kind of a thrill for Amy... I think. She does have farming in her background too - Wisconsin farming with much less wind to deal with!

I had a treat tonight after a day of work... my hubby came along with me for mass and took me out to supper with a nice visit. We both agree that Amy is a gem and we were happy to meet her and share this weekend getting to know her better. I hear that Simon did a very reverent and respectful job as altar server... still waiting for pictures to see. Jesus, we trust in YOU. Bless-bless, Barb
