Another snow picture for this early winter...
The question Jesus ended the Gospel - Luke 18:8 - with today; "But when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?" I can't remember ever seeing this or pondering this before! But I will say without hesitation that He will find Faith here on earth! I know of too many that are upholding the Truth in religious communities, vibrant and in line priests, families/domestic Churches that are raising LIGHTS, and those that take advantage of the sacraments on a daily basis, and hours in prayer in adoration in chapels around the globe, and all the Faith that happens around the clock which counteracts the darkness of sin and death! The culture of LIFE is alive and well and growing ever more bright and the LIGHT is growing ever bigger and brighter!
I love this, and know without a doubt that in answer to Jesus today - we need to sweat more!
Jesus, give all those traveling today a safe trip. Give us a great family gathering, and then on to see my parents and sit at their feet and learn and grow in Faith as they share The Truth! I am so blessed by their listening to The Holy Spirit on their journey, and bringing us into The Church! May we persevere in prayer without ceasing and Trust that You are answering with our salvation in mind. Yes, it isn't always the way we think it should be or the way we want it, but embracing that most Cherished Cross and following after You is what you ask of us. May we give without counting the cost. Jesus, we trust in You. Amen and Hallelujah
Saturdays are devoted to Mary. Maria and Joseph had to go to visit this statue of Mary at St Thomas as it was where Joe proposed to Maria. She has now been taken into their home, as Jesus asked us to do from the Cross!
Bless-bless, Barbara Luke
"Light shines through the darkness for the upright;
he is gracious and merciful and just.
Blessed the man who fears the Lord."
Psalm 112 from mass today
John speaks often of how much he loves his Spiritual Mother, Mary the Mother of God!
Pat in the cold sun yesterday grinding many bales of hay and corn stalks - making a mountain!
New snow is very pretty today, and Mary stands under the pine tree in my Mary garden looking out over the white world in this early winter on her feast day - Saturdays!
Adored by the angels, men and women and children united with all the Saints in Heaven. We are so blessed to have this Mother of heaven and earth interceding for us! Hail Mary, full of grace! The Lord is with thee. Blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
