Luke was one yesterday and at his celebration last night he just seemed to sense that we were there for him and he was there to fill us with happiness and warmth! He was filled with sweetness and LIGHT as he ate his meal with great energy and then just seemed to engage all those around him with his cute adorable looks and sounds.
It was such an enjoyable evening with wonderful people, food, and entertainment!
Luke's birthday candle was lit about 3 times as one sibling or anther blew it out... Little Luke just took it all in with a sweet smile. Mary trying to keep little Rose in check after blowing it out before this time...
Happy Birthday, Luke, God is blessing you now!
His birthday falls on All Saints Day and his names - Luke Paul are two amazing saints to pray for him and walk with him down the narrow path. I will not be able to celebrate mass with Luke and his family today, as well as John and Pat and Amy... I am hugely disappointed that I will not be able to see Simon be an altar server for the first time. On the first Sundays when Paul is lecturing - Simon will be an altar server and this is the first day. I have been called into work at the NH... So hard to have sleep interrupted with that urgent call and your day disrupted from its plans.
"Where did that fire go?" This time it was brother, David, who helped Luke blow out the candle...
Rose thinks mom's cake is the tastiest!
Jesus, it is hard to give up some looked forward to plans for our days and say "Yes" to your call to serve without counting the cost. Go forward with me and allow me to serve well all those in need this day at the NH.... knowing that your Saints and my Spiritual Mother are all around me supporting me and assisting me to follow after YOU. May we continually pray for all those in our lives that have gone before us, and also for those that have no one, who remembers them in prayer. It is serious business for us to PRAY without ceasing. Jesus, we trust in YOU. Amen and Hallelujah
Look at this BIG boy! He spent all evening walking behind this new toy from his God parents. It was so fun and we were thoroughly entertained and filled with wonder at this precious little sweetie. He only took breaks to reach out an give someone one of his wonderful HUGS! Mr Charismatic is coming into his own at 1 year old! Such a gift! Thank you, Jesus for our sweet miracle boy - Luke Paul! Bless-bless, Barbara Luke
