Yes, all the snow is melting and underneath is mud. Gus was out riding his new bike before they packed it up to take to the Cities - muddy tires but no snow piles to get through.
The wind was biting but well over freezing and the puddles appeared.

Bernadette found a puddle in the melting weather and underneath was some slippery ice - Yes, you guessed it! She was soon all wet and cold with a slip and a fall. Grandma had to help her into the house and mom into a warm bathtub. Bless-bless, Barb
