Happy 38th wonderful Paul!!! Sharing the life-giving meal at mass/"it is Christ in you"/stop and listen to Jesus

Today is Paul's 38th birthday!  Joy is making this one really special for her dad, but that is life and pictures of life are to be cherished as that is the truth of our journeys - sometimes a 2 year old needs to pick her nose.
I just came across this one on Maria's blog and have to share it.  My mother's 90th birthday was just a few days ago, too!  Thanks Maria for stopping to see her on your way from Wisconsin to Minnesota!
The three baby boys about 3 weeks ago now... tomorrow Jude and George will be in the same town.  Grandma has fake plans to get them together somehow.
The two birthday boys this morning... Dave was 11 on the 16th, Paul is 38 today, and my mom was 90 on the 17th.  Birthday time of year and how we love them all and wish them a wonderful year ahead.
Family breakfast after mass on Ruth and Paul's beautiful porch this morning.
I am so amazed at the stunning flowers Ruth has blooming in her pots on the porch!  How she loves to make her world on the farm beautiful with her green thumb and hard work.
Family birthday meal is our usual fare after sharing 8a mass... We have all just shared in the reception of Jesus' Body and Blood - as St Paul says today in Col 1 -
"...it is Christ in you, the hope for glory. "
This arrived from Maria yesterday.  No, Hector is not crawling, but this was set up by his siblings, who were right behind him.  They knew that grandma would go over the moon over it!
Jude had to reciprocate with this adoring of Jesus on the cross while holding the rosary... both boys will be great lovers and followers of Our Lord and His Mother!  So many prayers and raising them as lights in the Truth of Jesus and His Bride, The Church.
George joins in with smiling and adorable on his tummy... he prays with his family every night, too!  Pat calls him King George and he is excited to see him tomorrow here on the farm.
John did the lecturing today, and Pat and I sat with them.  We were able to feed and hold Jude... such a wonderful boy he is!
He is a magnet for Rose again, who held him too!
Sharing mass as a family is the BEST!  Such a good boy, who shared in our blessed time when we received Christ and how we pray that others will see "Christ in you."

Jude is so loved and we are so filled with wonder at the Lord's amazing plan for John and Bobbi and Jude's life.  So many prayers answered so quickly that our heads are spinning and our hearts are full to overflowing and how we are on our knees asking for the Lord to make a way for John's future and job.

There are many pictures on Maria's blog from their visit on the farm.  Uncle Paul is very loving towards his nieces and nephews... we love you Paul, have a wonderful year ahead!

Paul and John meeting Hector!  There can be no pricetag put on family time, and I am so happy we managed to carve out our week this summer.  Now holding on to fake plans for Christmas being possible also.

Jesus, we are filled with all we need for the journey as we come each week to receive you in your Word and Sacrament of the altar.  May we share your LIGHT/LOVE/LIFE with all those in our lives - most especially those the closest to us in our domestic Church/family.  May we radiate your LIFE as it is Christ in you!  Jesus, we trust in you.  Bless-bless, Barb

Maria's of the 3 little girls sharing tomato soup and smiles...

Romeo and Dominic are buds!

The 3 from 7 years ago... moms were all pregnant together - Rose came on May 1, Patrick on Oct 9, and Bernadette on Nov 13... soon they will be 7 together for about 7 months!

Having 11 grandsons is new and different for me... They love swords and guns and tussling.

Of course, grandpa and his girls!
