The beauty of their wonderful home and candles and wine made it the usual wonderful hospitality we have grown to love and expect from these two! It made us have a very special 4th in the midst of the ups and downs of "aging is a shipwreck" yet "he is still dwelling in this old house." Thanks, Fr Custodio!
They all made is home even though Evie screamed much of the 3 hour flight, I am told. Hector sure looks wonderful as do all the rest! After our 2 weeks together... they are a sight for sore eyes to know that they are back with their dad all in one piece of a masterpiece of a Faith-filled Family!
Then to see my Bandzuch family celebrating with their huge 4th of July parade that Delano is famous for!
After living with grandma and grandpa for the month of June... I will miss them all and most especially wonderful amazing baby George, who I did not hear cry once really loudly while they were with us!
Then there is this wonderful baby boy -Jude!
So precious along with his two cousins... all celebrating their first of many 4th of Julys! So healthy and happy and we are celebrating them here with us adding to our love!
From 5 years ago at the Big Lake! The 11 with unhappy Berna and Rose Again!
Red, white and blue tie dyed shirts were the theme for that year, and Domo was only 3 weeks old!
Roses in mom's garden this morning with rain drops on the petals... Pat and John reported that it was pouring down rain this morning on the farm!
Pat has been busy tying up fair calves with Paul and the grandkids. About 5 weeks from the fair, and some babies are crying for their moms this morning around there. They also tied up a couple cow-calf pairs. The work load just amped up around there and grandpa is a willing and able helper.
Yes, I have been back looking at albums here - now of our first born, Ruth Ida. I love this one of Pat gently picking up his first born as his huge hands gently lifting her speaks volumes of how he is my champion for LIFE and Family!
His gaze of love during her baptism into The Church! How the words of Baptism are so powerful when you hold that tiny life in your hands knowing that they are coming into The Church which Christ left us as His Bride!
Mom and I were sharing at breakfast about how in every movie that has a church in it.... it is always a glorious beautiful Catholic Church complete with stain glass, altar, statues and votive candles twinkling. "It is The Church and that is evident as it portrays the REAL Presence of Jesus and Mary!"
LOVE our domestic Church which started with our sweet girl, Ruth Ida! Jesus in the heart of our Family with His Bride, The Church, there to guide and direct us! We love, love , Love The Church and embrace every part of it! We do not pick and choose what we believe and what we follow!
Mary and I on the farm... our bond was very deep and now she keeps my eyes on heaven as she is gone now 33 years due to cancer.
She is especially close on July 3rd... the anniversary of her death. On that day I was told that my 14 week pregnancy was no longer alive. I told Mary that baby Thomas, was going with her... "a part of me is going with you, Mary." So many reasons to keep my eyes on heaven! My sister as well as 7 losses!

The welcoming for our 4th of July fun!
Today in the Gospel we see Matthew's call by Jesus... Those that were sick and sinners gathered around him, like metal to a magnet. How we all need him as we deal with our sins and weaknesses!
"Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?"
He heard this and said,
"Those who are well do not need a physician, but the sick do.
Go and learn the meaning of the words,
I desire mercy, not sacrifice.
I did not come to call the righteous but sinners."
Matthew 9
Mom and I are here praying for dad, who is with my sister at Vets for some surgery today dealing with his chronic kidney issues. We are lifting him up to Jesus with prayers that he may return home to us today and not be kept there.
Dad having his wine cooler in their warm and wonderful home... actually they thought the air was too cold, so...
each bundled up in a blanket... too cute!
Like eating out doors without the humidity and bugs! LOVE!
Oh, and sweet corn, too! 4th of July spread extraordinary!
It seems that with each new day there is much to be brought to our dear and wonderful and life-giving physician in prayer! Today dad and too much rain at home and the farm situation and family and the things that come up with mom and dad and having two young men on my doorstep at 4p tomorrow when I am 4 hours away... give it all to HIM! Jesus, is in control!
Mom's lush garden... all she sees are the weeds that she is unable to get rid of. Thankful for a granddaughter, who is helping her.
Lillys are stunning, too!
Jesus, how we need you to take all our burdens and give us peace knowing that you are in control. We lay all them all at your feet and through your Mother we leave them with you.
R. Alleluia, alleluia.
Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened,
and I will give you rest, says the Lord.
R. Alleluia, alleluia.
This gives us the reminder that we need not worry as you remind us 365 times in The Word - for each and every day! Jesus, may we die to self so that you may live in us. Jesus, we trust in you. Amen and Hallelujah
Yes, Lord, our domestic Church/home is where we must begin to share our Faith with JOY and LOVE! May we serve without counting the cost. "Wounded, I will not cease to love." the motto of The Community of the Lamb. Bless-bless, Barb
Hallel and all the Little Sisters and Brothers are traveling today back to France for 2 months! Give them safety, Lord!
Taking advantage of mom's computer and getting some of these wonderful big pictures from Nancy's camera on here!
Ruth's flowers are like my mother's - it skipped a generation!
Therese with the 3 and the cows and calves behind them
Oh my!!! LOVE!!
The three faces of a 2 year old, a 3 year old and a 2 1/2 year old!
The huge meals on Ruth's beautiful porch... a small slice of heaven!
The 3 baby boys!!! I will end with them for today!
