The Pat and Barb Verly family and their 5 children, in laws and grandkids along with many prayer warriors have been drawn together by John's cancer... sharing daily for 8 months started this blog- Family Soul Story - Our faith, family, farm and now our cancer journey called HEALING have colored and deepened our world. WE continue to share and depend on the support of our prayer warrior community, that has lowered us into the Lord's presence for His healing!

The Hidden Manna
In St Joseph chapel this morning for my 4a hour of Adoration! Knowing that it is now the Solemnity of The Annunciation - 9 months until December 25th. I began my prayer with the decade of the rosary devoted to this... First Joyful/the Annunciation. I found this statue of Mary signifying the moment of conception when the Holy Spirit ...
And the angel said to her in reply, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. Therefore the child to be born will be called holy, the Son of God. Luke 1
I love this from the Magnificat today!
The Annunciation can be thought of as a precursor to Pentecost: "The Holy Spirit comes upon" Mary and imparts to her the gift of all gifts, a divine Son. Now, through the Spirit's work in The Church, every Christian likewise has an experience of The Annunciation: We become "Christophers" - that is, Christ bearers. By the "power of the Most High" the Word comes to us that we might bear him at all times. "O Consuming Fire, Spirit of Love," Come upon me, "and create in my soul a kind of incarnation of the Word, that I may be another humanity for him in which he can renew his whole Mystery. Jesus!!! How amazing is the fact that Jesus came as LIFE from conception and had a heart beating at 5-6 weeks from conception! Yet, as God his Sacred heart began to pulsate with love, divine and human! JOY!
How we adore and are filled with so much gratitude and LOVE!

Life of Christ
Intimate time with Jesus - placing all of our family in the monstrance with Jesus - the family litany of both of our families is about 250+ and keeps me on my knees in my inner chapel for most of my hour. It is very exciting to add a new life we became aware of just a week ago! I always smile at additions to our family starting in the womb!
Such an appropriate time to be adding a life in the womb! I love how Jesus showcased the beauty of LIFE by dwelling in Mary's womb from the conception today with the words "Be it done" by Mary - the perfect tabernacle for to dwell.
On my way to watch the two youngest grandchildren while John works at The Catholic School's after school program.
The vigil light aglow as we know that Jesus in present and how we love and adore Him! Jesus, we trust in you. Bless-bless, Barbara
Ruth, Pat and Paul getting the yards cleaned up and dry bedding after the big rain we had over 2 days! Doing the work to feed the world.
We are up to over 60 cows calved as there were many during the change in the weather. The first day we had over 10 cows calve. Busy!
