So much peace! It is wonderful when nature can enter through your eyes and affect your soul and spirit in a real way! The sea has been calmed - Jesus is in control!
In the midst of the strong memories of a year ago as on Armistice day - Armistice Day (also known as Remembrance Day) is on 11 November and commemorates the armistice signed between the Allies of World War I and Germany at Compiègne, France, for the cessation of hostilities on the Western Front, which took effect at eleven o'clock in the morning—the "eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month" of 1918. The reason the truce was to go into effect on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th Month was as a remembrance of the Feast of the Soldier later Bishop, St. Martin of Tours, which is celebrated on 11 November.
We were as a family together in Rochester on this day last year, and heard about John's radiation, which was set to begin the following Monday! We received encouraging news from the doctors.. that they still felt that with the radiation they could have complete responce - CR - Christ Rules! WE had gotten this amazing note in our guestbook from Bishop LeVoir the day before in responce to our shock at the regrowth of John's tumor! How I have clung to it ever since and taken heart from the repeating this with practically every breath that I take! Jesus, I trust in you!

John and all of you are in my prayers at this time of shock and confusion. A helpful prayer at this time might be the prayer of Divine Mercy: "Jesus I trust in You." I know that this is a difficult prayer to pray now. I am praying it with you.

Talk about peaceful... this is the sight that greeted me, as I came to our farm this noon... All the cows across the road in the pasture laying down enjoying the sun after a cold wet day yesteday! It just makes me want to end this tonight with the amazing 23rd Psalm...Psalm 23
"The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want;
he makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters; he restores my soul.
He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I fear no evil;
for thou art with me;
