More cattle lowing... for real!

Her purple fair tag was missing, but we finally found Snowball eating at the bunk with all the cows.  Mary had saved a red apple for her, and a pat in the sun.  There wasn't a lot of lowing from the cows as they were busy filling their faces.  There were even some that were out in the pasture and trying to drink from the frozen creek.  We did get to check out the new calf that was born last week - early for sure!

Snowball was more interested in eating than in spending time with Mary today, but Mary had met some pretty friendly cows on her journey looking for Snowball... one was a calf of Bertha, who enjoyed an apple.  Then she had the friendly Baby come over and eat an apple right out of her hand!  It was a beautiful day to have some memories with the cows, and Mary is always interested in them.

I think that they will be looking for a little girl with a polka dot coat and red apples, and maybe lowing a little bit that she comes out there to see them... she made some new friends today, and daddy is talking about the ones that she will show at the fair in 8 months along with their calves!  A whole new world is starting for Mary, and she is ready to get going!  Mary, bring apples out with you, and you will make friends forever!  Jesus, we trust in you, and thank you for a brown winter from man, girl and beast!  Bless-bless, Barb

Mary loves the animals and it shows!
