These cute pictures of Nancy and Bill were taken just as they were starting to date, but it was evident that they were in love for Good! This was also the weekend that we all gathered at 8am mass at the Church along with my parents and a relic of Venerable Solanus Casey to annoint John and pray over him with the intercession of Venerable Casey. John's cancer had come roaring back through the chemo, and the radiation was set to begin the next day for 6 weeks. We had said no radiation as it could cause John to have brain damage in the long run, and with him only 20 years old... it was one thing that we said we wouldn't do. So there was a desperation that this prayer would totally heal him! Although he didn't go leaping down the aisles of church that morning... he is now healed for 2 years without any cancer, and his brain seems to have been protected from the radiation and does not show signs of darkening which could indicate the damage that they worry about. Hallel came home for week two of the radiation and drove her brother every day and I know that so many prayers were said for his healing and protection! All the pieces come together with the result of healing and so many changed by the reality and power of PRAYER! Jesus, we trust in you!
So special to see Hallel in our church! I wish that she could come and see it... someday!!!!!!!!!!
