Trying to get a 12 month old and a 6 month old to pose for a picture at the end of a long day... with bright roses to grab at... I think I lost to this challange. But having a bucket of beautiful roses soon to be delivered to a friend to sell in a neighboring church I just had to give it a try!
Rose is actually trying to push Bernadette off of her, but it still looks cute because Bernadette is turning on the charm. I think she thought that Rose was being friendly rather than not wanting to have her on her lap.
Thanks MOM for LIFE ! from Bernadette to her mom a few days early, but she is now 7 hours ahead of us, so maybe it is only one day early - It's Mother's Day weekend here in the U.S.!
This was the best I could do to get Gus to pose with Bernadette.. I turned his shirt around so it wasn't too dirty, but he was too into playing and slid off the chair as fast as I could put him next to her. And we all see that Bernadettte pulled the head off one of my roses! 
So there we go... did I rise up to the challange or not? I tried anyways. Wishing all mothers a wonderful Mother's Day - especially my mom, Pat's mom and my 3 amazing daughters! Jesus, Mothers are what makes the world go round and light up our lives. Jesus, we trust in YOU. Bless-bless, Barb
