I just had to share this - good enough to smell the sweetness picture. The first lilacs opening in the rain! I picked it and brought it in and once it warmed up and dried off - it smelled as wonderful as it looks, and as the lilacs that linger in your brain memory banks from each spring. I will now have one under my nose until the last one is left! I am addicted to lilac aroma, and very blessed with a huge hedge on two sides of my house! God knows what makes me smile - lilacs!
