At age 3 Mary's parents brought her to the temple and presented her to God! May we as parents do likewise with those children we are given when we are open to LIFE and raising LIGHTS for the world!
Rose and Mary coming to grandma's house for overnight.
Mary begs to bring little kitten, Kateri, for an overnight, too. "OK."
Rose is in charge of their suitcase, and play dough... she seems to be a girl that requires a lot of baggage already.
Watching Mary at basketball practice was a good thing for me. I realize that it is good for her. I will be more supportive from now on.
Our first fire of the year with popcorn and a movie with the girls, then prayers and bed. We talked about the advent wreath coming out in a week. "We would light the advent candles for each week, gather and read about the saints and from the Bible, sings praise and worship songs and pray during Advent each year as a family." I am so pleased that our kids are now praying with their kids each night! Let's step it up a notch with Advent here in a week!
Butter braid, little girls and a kitten on a chilly morning on the farm. Today we plan to watercolor together, worm the cats and play in the shop. Jesus, we are so blessed by the example of Mary's being raised as God's and a LIGHT to the world as she was without sin to bring Christ into the world! May we humbly raise LIGHTS in our homes as we share our Faith with JOY! Jesus, we trust in you. Bless-bless, Barb
