Mary always with us - out to see Snowball and her calf Snowman

Walking down to the mailbox with the grandkids - recently read that marigolds are named for Mary-  a flower named for Mary!  In the midst of such hard times in this world - she is always comforting us - "Hail Mary..."
Mary, Luke and Rose out to see Snowball, who is being fed out as she is not pregnant - her calving days are over.  Mary is sad to know that Snowball will be no more around.
Mary still able to stroke her nose.

Mary teaching Rose and Luke how to hold a hand out with feed in it and have them come close.
 In the feed bunk...
Snowman looks just like his mom and is equally tame... it must be in the blood.

 Luke's turn.
Taking a walk in the bunk... Rose was surprise to see the calves were scared of them.
Paul, John, Pat with Simon and David were the fence pulling crew.  So that made for a big crowd to feed two meals today.  They are good eaters so it makes it fun to cook for them.  Ruth is having a retreat weekend on the road to Emmaus.  A candle lit on the table as prayers lift up for all those attending the weekend.  Big family weekend with such beautiful weather, allows us to find a lot of good still exists in this crazy world we live in!  Thank you, Lord, for our lives on the farm.  Jesus, we trust in you.  Bless-bless, Barb
