On our wedding day with the Saints and Holy Mary looking over our shoulders. We three were united in the Sacrament of Marriage - Pat, I and the Holy Spirit!
My father, Deacon Robert Cross, baptizing our first daughter, Ruth Ida, in the Chapel at the Catholic School where all the kids and now the grandkids go to school. Each morning I thank God for our family and for sharing our Faith and total LOVE for The Catholic Church and The Truth that it upholds to the world of sin and darkness!
Ruth and Paul in St Peters on November 25th, 2003 having their marriage blessed by Saint John Paul II! Our Mother Church - today the Church in Rome of the Pope - St John Lateran is celebrated. My prayer along with the lesson of Jesus in the Gospel today from John2 - driving out the money changers... May our Church rise above the world and be Holy and set apart as where Jesus dwells with His Mother Mary and all the Saints!
I love this picture of an adult baptism - coming into the Church with great JOY!
A great picture shared by Danielle Rose a few years ago of Adoration. Sharing yesterday about how our daughter, Little Sister Hallel, needs to attend Mass and Adoration daily along with periods of work and prayer. Reflecting on the intimate sharing she needs with her spouse each day... where do we find that with our spouses? Sharing mass with each other and Adoration can be important to married couples, too!
The stunning chapel at Bernarde House in Rome - when we visited Maria, while she studied there for a year in 2003. Now Hallel lives with the Community of the Lamb in Rome as a Little Sister!
St Peters at night from our visit! So many amazing gatherings in this square over the years... that cast our Church in such an amazing light. I have to believe that many were converted to the beauty and Truth displayed at the funeral of Saint John Paul II!
The Baptism at Nativity of Therese 7 years ago. Therese has a priest and a nun for her Godparents - do you think she will consider a call for herself? Yes! I feel angry at the lies of Satan that so many are listening to! "You need to get lots of education well into your 30s and make money and be successful... for peat sakes don't consider that religious life embracing poverty, chastity or obedience to be anything worth your while." Lies and deceit!
In the chapel in Kansas City in front of the altar to Our Lady of Guadalupe where Susan told us that she would be joining The Community of the Lamb in France! Little Sister Marie, the foundress, and Fr Jean Claude, the founder, were here in the U.S. for this powerful moment in our lives!
The Little Sisters come to visit the farm shortly after coming to the U.S. in Kansas City... Sisters in our Church for adoration must have been quite a sight for those that were there!
The Crucifix from the chapel in St Joseph's in the Cities early in John's brain cancer battle... St Peregrine was healed from cancer by a vision of Jesus reaching down from the cross! How we were lifted up by the Church ministering to our every need along the path - anointed 5 times, prayer warriors, Eucharist each day he was in the hospital facing chemo and radiation... this was the scary time in 2009 when the cancer grew through 2 chemos and we faced radiation. Bishop LeVoir wrote us on caring bridge - "When you face impossible times repeat these words - 'Jesus, I trust in you.' "
Love this... how we need to share our LOVE for The Church with great JOY!
In the base Church in El Paso with their protector, St Michael the Archangel! Many days spent here on our knees at daily mass praying for Joseph in Afghanistan and newborn Patrick in NICU at Divine Providence Hospital!
St Barbara is big down there and reminds me to strive to be that Saint!
A healthy 2 year old Patrick visiting St Patrick in St Patrick's Cathedral - where many hours and prayers were sent up and answered!
There is so much to help us through the hard places in our lives!
Attending mass with Bill, Nancy and family when Dominic is a tiny days old newborn! Thanking God for the gift of LIFE and receiving LIFE/LOVE/LIGHT/Jesus in His Word and His Body and Blood!
Nancy at daily mass with her 3...sharing her LOVE for her Church with great JOY!
Mass at The Basilica on Dominic's baptism day!
With Maria and family - sharing the gift of newborn Romeo at mass shared on base!
Romeo's Baptism into The Church! Such a beautiful moment for him and his family!
Today I just looked for pictures of times shared in The Church around the world! Jesus, life is rich and wonderful and I love, LOVE , LOVE The Church. I always pray that it continues to be a bright and beautiful LIGHT showing the Way, The Truth and the LIFE for all! Help me to die to self so that you may live in me and use me as your hands and feet showing the way into The True Holy Catholic Church! Jesus, we trust in you. Amen and Hallelujah
Pat getting the Eucharist for his mother, who is homebound. Bless-bless, Barbara Luke
True of The Church!

From Maria's blog today - great to see some of my kids!
