Thankfulness 2015!

Thankfulness is permeating my Thanksgiving day 2015!  Starting with a call from my sister and a wonderful poem about our dad.  "Read it to him and tell him about your thankfulness for all he has done for us.  Give him a hug from me and the hug you get back is from me!"

Lord, we thank you for the beauty and the fruitfulness of the earth.  So appropriate for us here on the farm and our life's work/vocation of feeding the world.  Using Ruth's picture for this... abundance of harvest made us praise HIM for the wonderful rains.
Grandpa holding his little Dominic at breakfast... love this weathered hard working huge hand and this little guy!

Lord, we thank you for the love of family and friends.
I am so surprised that my Advent wreath is still holding up and the spiritual wall I put around it.  It feels so exciting to know that Advent is just days away!
Berna sees the snow and says - "She has Christmas on her back."
Snow on the driveway and lights in the bushes...

Lord, we thank you for the wonder of the seasons in nature and in your Church.  We love you and Your Bride, The Church without reservation.
The kids are facetiming in the front room with their cousins in NC.  Lots of excited voices sharing their love and care for each other.  Jesus, we love you and thank you for all we are so blessed with sharing our Faith and Family and Farm.  Jesus, we trust in you.  Bless-bless, Barb and family
Grandpa spending some time with Dominic at breakfast.  Dominic keeps going over to the window and tries to open the door and go out to the brumm-brumm.
Our Lady under the tree in the snow with the lights.... feeling so grateful for our special Faith and LIFE/LOVE/LIGHT/Jesus and His Mother, Mary Mother of God!

Therese with her first guitar lesson- she liked it and it is likely she will play well like her dad before her.
Third Day- God of Wonders
O God beyond all praising... both Maria and Nancy used this in their weddings and it makes me cry at the beauty of it!  I thank and praise you Lord!
