We arrived to wonderful food which will arrive all week from Joe's law office and after the baby the MCCW will have a meal train. How I love this part of the military after being with Maria for all 7 babies - 5 of them in the military! The way they helped us when we had the emergency we faced with Patrick's birth and how they brought food and had help for both Maria and I at different hospitals. It lifted us up when we were scared and overwhelmed!
I have discovered that CCW in the military is young women, and they are very much caring if there is any need that comes along!

No sooner had we gotten on the road to Fort Lewis and we saw evidence of others heading to the Fort! Maria was so excited to see the white puffy clouds - "This is the most beautiful day I can remember ever having here! Usually it is a thin cloud over the entire sky making it dull and gray.
They waved at us as we passed them - all heading to the same place!
13 year old Therese and 4 year old Therese will be joined by another sister in 2 days, they also have 4 brothers!Such a special send off for me to pray with John in the middle of the night! He laid hands on me praying for safe travels and safety for his sister and her little girl! He prayed about the love of LIFE that our family shares and as a result we have many in our growing families and "those in heaven praying for us and here with us."
As John was praying I looked down at baby Jesus on my Verly Christmas shirt, and was deeply moved by the LIFE that entered the world for us that we may believe in Him and have LIFE eternal!
Jesus said to his disciples:
“When the Advocate comes whom I will send you from the Father,
the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father,
he will testify to me.
And you also testify,
because you have been with me from the beginning. John 15 from the Gospel today reminds us of how we have been loved by Him always and forever!
An hour with Jesus in he first hour of Monday - I was blessed with adding a new life in the monstrance with Jesus for the first time! LOVE when I can do that!
Pat giving me a ride to the plane with the rising sun - passing the crucifix along the highway as we share morning prayer and each praying for the petitions on our hearts as we pass by the fields worked and planted with seeds - now prayer for rain is big for my farmer husband, Chief Broken Wing.
Singing with the sign of the Cross while we head to welcome our newest grandchild - #20 in Fort Lewis, WA.
Picture perfect day for a plane trip to Seattle!
Yummy food to help out while dad is away and mom is days away from having Magdalene Rose Mary on Wednesday. Grandma gets to be with my daughter, and granddaughter!
2 year old Hector, 6 year old Romeo are loving the baked Mac and cheese
Enjoying the back yard on a beautiful top 10 day! Therese showed us her garden and we watched the birds that eat their bird seed.
A special Mary music box that is for Maggie Rose Mary. Maria found it in the thrift store in Marshall the last time she was in town. The music box did not work, so she looked up on line how to fix it, and it works!!! A treat to hear Shuberts Ave Maria!

It feels good to share a bit of how blessed we are here. So many memories flooding me after the welcoming of new life I am gifted with with my daughters. How it warms my heart to hear them say; "Mom, I need you." A mother always wants to be wanted and needed. When I can bring things for Hallel or she calls from France with some things that she needs - a sleeping bag, sandals, dental floss... it gives me a lot of JOY! And to be able to take our home canning and meat to the Community in KC is our complete delight to have our family of The Lamb one of the 7 families that we can for. To know that Hallel is eating our food makes me smile big!
Ready for our baby girl!
Maria made this and it is over the crib for our newest little one! We are so excited to meet her! Many prayers and great family times ahead! Now to add one more little girl in her lap to make the picture complete! So precious from a children's book Maria came across a few years back. So precious! Jesus, we love you and trust in you and thank you for the JOY that fills us from your LOVE for us and New LIFE! Bless-bless, Barbara
