Passing through this world/prayers for Maria at 1p-Getting ready for grandchild #20/May Crowning of Mary at HRS

Looking back a year ago today - Rose's First Communion was postponed due to the pandemic.  On the day it was to be she dressed up in her First Communion dress and we still had some fun with pictures and smiles!  About 4 months later she did have her First Communion!
Today Rose had the privilege to crown Mary in an outside ceremony before mass.  She wore her beautiful First Communion dress.  She shared with me that there is a girl taller than her in her grade, but that she is Lutheran, and so it fell to Rose Again to crown Beautiful Queen of Heaven and Earth, Mother Mary of God!
Her sister, Mary, who is 6 years older than Rose, also crowned her namesake when
You are truly our Queen, Blessed Mother, and we love you - Rose, always keep her and her prayers constantly with you as you follow Our Lord, her Son!  She takes all our needs to him and Jesus does not ignore his mother.
Pope Benedict left to me by my mother, who read this daily for 10 years... Magnify the Lord and rejoice in God with the best Mother of all!!!  I totally agree when John says; "There is a better mom than you."  Yes!!!!
Then Dad leaves me Brother Victor and his beautiful monastic life and JOY!

After my wonderful 6 months here with dad in our Farm Monastery doing our "work of prayer"... I am daily fed from heaven!  This morning dad's prayer book was lined with his excitement for The Truth we find each day in The Church that he brought all 13 of us into 50 years ago!  Today dad's points out our True Home!

The Christian in the world... passing through this world with our eyes focused on heaven!

Christians are indistinguishable from other men either by nationality, language or customs. They do not inhabit separate cities of their own, or speak a strange dialect, or follow some outlandish way of life. Their teaching is not based upon reveries inspired by the curiosity of men. Unlike some other people, they champion no purely human doctrine. With regard to dress, food and manner of life in general, they follow the customs of whatever city they happen to be living in, whether it is Greek or foreign.

And yet there is something extraordinary about their lives. They live in their own countries as though they were only passing through. They play their full role as citizens, but labor under all the disabilities of aliens. Any country can be their homeland, but for them their homeland, wherever it may be, is a foreign country. Like others, they marry and have children, but they do not expose them. They share their meals, but not their wives. They live in the flesh, but they are not governed by the desires of the flesh. They pass their days upon earth, but they are citizens of heaven. Obedient to the laws, they yet live on a level that transcends the law.

Christians love all men, but all men persecute them. Condemned because they are not understood, they are put to death, but raised to life again. They live in poverty, but enrich many; they are totally destitute, but possess an abundance of everything. They suffer dishonor, but that is their glory. They are defamed, but vindicated. A blessing is their answer to abuse, deference their response to insult. For the good they do they receive the punishment of malefactors, but even then they rejoice, as though receiving the gift of life. They are attacked by the Jews as aliens, they are persecuted by the Greeks, yet no one can explain the reason for this hatred.

To speak in general terms, we may say that the Christian is to the world what the soul is to the body. As the soul is present in every part of the body, while remaining distinct from it, so Christians are found in all the cities of the world, but cannot be identified with the world. As the visible body contains the invisible soul, so Christians are seen living in the world, but their religious life remains unseen. The body hates the soul and wars against it, not because of any injury the soul has done it, but because of the restriction the soul places on its pleasures. Similarly, the world hates the Christians, not because they have done it any wrong, but because they are opposed to its enjoyments.

Christians love those who hate them just as the soul loves the body and all its members despite the body’s hatred. It is by the soul, enclosed within the body, that the body is held together, and similarly, it is by the Christians, detained in the world as in a prison, that the world is held together. The soul, though immortal, has a mortal dwelling place; and Christians also live for a time amidst perishable things, while awaiting the freedom from change and decay that will be theirs in heaven. As the soul benefits from the deprivation of food and drink, so Christians flourish under persecution. Such is the Christian’s lofty and divinely appointed function, from which he is not permitted to excuse himself.

So wonderful - every word is a pearl that falls upon me from heaven above and heaven at the end of the narrow path as I stagger down it dragging my Most Cherished Cross...

A Rose for Our Lady!
Some of her classmates with Our Queen!
So grateful that mom took pictures for this old woman, who forgot all about it!  I am so sad.

4th generation at this Catholic School!  Her great-grandmother, Pat and his 9 siblings, our 5 children and now grandchildren including Ruth!
Rose in all her sweet softness!

Many thoughts and prayers for my 3rd daughter, Maria, today.  She is having her last stress test at 1p and if any contractions appear- the baby could be here sooner than we expect!  This was the case with Hector 2 years ago, so I am praying and on call in the wings if need be.  All the plans I have made are "fake plans."  We have learned with farm life, army life, and life in general that we are not in control and therefore we have smilingly called our plans always "fake" until it actually happens.

Beautiful Rose Again a year ago.  So special that today she wore her beautiful dress to crown our Queen of Heaven and earth!  I am forever blessed to have this perfect woman reveal The Truth to me about how we are to be open to LIFE and raise LIGHTS for this world!
A year ago - I had to pinch myself to realize that my dad was living with me on the farm!  Each day we found joy and peace and love shared as we prayed for our family in our "Farm Monastery."  I now have Adoration for the first hour of Monday - midnight - 1a.  I smile as I pray the litany of our families just as dad and I did each Monday - all the family first and middle names!

Jesus, how I adore you and love you and thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the blessings you pour out upon us! There are those times when we are pruned/humbled by you so that we may bear more fruit that will last!  Today in the Gospel of the Vine and the branches we are longing to always be united to you and how we love to have your Mother there with us every step of the way - taking our needs to you, her Son!  Jesus, we trust in you.  Amen and Hallelujah
Birdie Barbara, our youngest grandchild is soon to be the second youngest with the arrival of her baby cousin, Maggie Rose!  Can't wait to meet her and so many prayers!  Bless-bless, Barbara

Dad did pray everyday for his family, but only on Mondays first and middle names, so for me to pray the first hour of Monday is very powerful and special for me and for dad in heaven as he prays more perfectly there with mom for his huge and growing family!  Jesus, and Mary we love you very much.  Save souls!
