High Noon Tea in the dining room...

After a busy morning making placemats and cupcakes for the big "tea party"... the streamers were a hit for running back and forth through, and made a dramatic entrance in for the High Tea!...Therese needed to itch her nose on the inside at that exact moment!
Is that a big farmer grandpa with two 2 year olds, a one year old on his lap and a very sophisticated 4 year old?  At least he didn't have to drink out of a pink plastic tea cup....The conversation was very stimulating to say the least and that combined with the wonderful food - ham and cheese wraps and cut up fruit... Well,it was very high class!  "Grandpa, did you just burp?" was the most asked question, followed by raucous laughter!
The cow milk pitcher spit its milk into every pink and blue plastic tea cup on the table, and was the most admired and stared at guest at the party!  He stole the show!
Therese got her turn with the milk cow pitcher... That cupcake you created just for you is mighty fancy... and with all the frosting on fingers and faces - it was mighty tasty too.  They were so good that it was decided that the two cats must be about 1year old today in cat years,so when Simon comes home we will have a cat birthday party for supper and put candles in them to blow out and sing happy birthday to the kittens - Herby and Allie...  Another excuse to have our yummy cupcakes!
They had better rest up for tonight... it could be a very exhausting party with all the fun and games that the kids have in store for them.  Not to mention the crowns they made for them to wear on their heads!  The things you come up with to help the day go by with a house full of grandkids is quite surprising sometimes.  And what is really surprising about it is that they never happen the way that you think that they will.  "Never a dull moment."  That is my life, and I am ready for some really dull moments for the next few hours! Bless-bless, Barb
"Life is an opportunity, benefit from it.

Life is beauty, admire it.
Life is bliss, taste it.
Life is a dream, realize it.
Life is a challenge, meet it.
Life is a duty, complete it.
Life is a game, play it.
Life is a promise, fulfill it.
Life is sorrow, overcome it.
Life is a song, sing it.
Life is a struggle, accept it.
Life is a tragedy, confront it.
Life is an adventure, dare it.
Life is luck, make it.
Life is too precious, do not destroy it.
Life is life, fight for it."
